VA needed for animation tests

VA needed for animation tests

Project Overview

This casting call is to find someone willing to record a few lines to be used as part of a series of animation tests.  These animation tests will center around the character of Bea.

Once these animation tests are complete, it is likely that a full 6-10 minute pilot featuring this character will be put into the works.
Voice acting for this pilot will be a paying job.

The animation tests will likely be completed in January with the pilot's production beginning by February.

Bea, is the main protagonist of this cartoon.  She is generally a very upbeat character - bubbly, energetic and personable.  Personable, is the key word.  She's a very sincere person so it's important to make her voice and delivery seem as natural and warm as possible.
She also has some tragedy and complexity to her character so she would have to be able to deliver some heavier lines while keeping an overall positive demeanor.

Even though Bea is supposed to be a cute child, it is not necessary that she needs to sound cute and childlike.  The most important aspect of her character is her conviction and openness.  It's important that she believes everything that comes out of her mouth.  She wears her heart on her sleeve so don't be afraid to really emote with her.  Yell everything if you need to.  It's better to overact than underact.

  • "Just let me know what needs done and I'll do it!"

  • "Oh, I'm sure everything's going to work-out just fi- *pause* Oh...well, I guess this is just one of those days where I'm wrong about everything!"

  • "Sometimes, I think back on everything that happened and I can't believe it.  I still can't believe it!  It just feels like it was all some kind of dream and now I'm just bopping around, doing dream things until I wake up."
