More Characters for 2nd Set
Anyone who auditioned for Frisk, I'm also having auditions for Little Asriel, who will need to meet the same requirements as Frisk/Chara. I've also added Asgore. You should all audition!

Project Overview

So, yes, I am writing a musical for Undertale. I am currently looking for people who can play Flowey, Toriel, and Frisk/Chara. Later I will post auditions for the rest of the characters, as well as chorus. For now, I just need these three characters. Frisk will not be singing for a while, though they will sing.
This will be a long-term project, so I need someone who I can stay in contact with and will be dedicated to recording the songs when asked to. I am doing most of the songs in semi-order, though the instrumental tracks will be published completely out of order.

2nd Set of Auditions!
Hello, everyone! Thank you all for auditioning! You all did wonderfully! To the two men who have just auditioned for Frisk and Flowey, please, I beg of you, audition for the 2nd set for Flowey. I like you two a lot. To the three ladies who still need to send in all of their callback recordings, please do that as soon as possible! I have the audio editor and as soon as I finish the orchestrations for Heartache, I want to go ahead and record the fifth and sixth scene, which is Heartache and the conversation right before it.
To everyone (including those who have made callbacks), please audition for the 2nd set! Especially if you can read music. You are all so talented, I'd love to hear more from all of you!

Last Day to Audition!
So, today is the last day to audition! So far I take it everyone who wants to audition has, and some info about the next audition.
There will be no callbacks for Flowey. I haven't had anyone audition that is able to play him. I'm sorry if you auditioned for him, but I truly need a guy who can sing to audition for this. This is not just a silly little project. I am taking this project very seriously. This is a huge project, not just a little comic or one little video. Please keep this in mind when auditioning. I need serious actors and singers to be able to stay in contact with me for a while.
I will keep holding auditions for Flowey, as frankly I need a guy to audition. I can't just have a low singing alto, I need a tenor. A true male tenor. However, on top of Flowey, I will be looking for probably Napstablook (Tenor) (writing lyrics for him now) and Ensemble. The song Ruins will contain of Vegetoid (Mezzo), Froggit (Tenor), Whimsun (Soprano), Moldsmal (Alto/Tenor), Migosp (Baritone/Bass), and Loox (Any dude). All seven characters will also double as chorus, so these singers (with the exception of Napstablook if push comes to shove) will need to be able to read music and sing harmony. I may add Asgore to that, but at the same time, I may wait, because I don't have any music for him yet. He does the curtain speech and the little speech for "Long ago two races ruled the earth etc" but I don't have his song written yet. I won't have that for a while. I'm barely through Act 1. But when the time comes for Asgore auditions, I am either going to need a Bass with an extended high range or a Baritone with an extended low range. We good? We good.
Thank you to everyone who auditioned. If you did not get a callback, please audition for chorus. There will be lots of roles available in chorus, I swear. Don't give up, as Toriel would say. And to quote this musical directly "Don't give up, you have stayed determined and strong all along (x20)" Haha. No seriously. That's part of the song. Repeat endlessly. Have fun, you guys!
Also, for those who have gotten callbacks, if you don't get the part, congrats! That means you automatically get chorus! Though this doesn't mean that you're closed off to chorus. I haven't made my desicion yet on either character. So far I've received 2 1/2 auditions for Frisk (Riley I still need your singing and thepotatogoddess I still need your callbacks in general) and I've gotten 1 1/2 callback for Toriel (Riley again I need the singing and sakarrie and tauau I just need yours in general as well). Once I get all those I will post the results on here.

Toriel Callbacks/I Made a Mistake
I have realised I made a terrible mistake. With all of this, I will be recording audio tracks for the dialogue as well, espescially when there is an underlaying instrumental vamp of some nature. I already have the lines I want for Asgore. He will be doing the curtain speech as well as the little background about the war and all. What I didn't realise is that I would not have Toriel's stuff done in time. I thought I would. I thought planning this, I've got lyrics for Heartache and some lyrics for Fallen Down and Home is gonna be super easy to write and then all I have to do is orchestrate it without realising that ORCHESTRATING IS NOT EASY ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE ORCHESTRATING FOUR MINUTES OF NOTHING BUT FULL ORCHESTRA!!! Ugh.
I'm writing this in the middle of orchestrating Heartache, by the way. If you couldn't tell, I'm frustrated.
On that note, I do have the people I want for callbacks picked out. However, with whoever gets it, please note that it may take lots and lots of waiting before there's any official recording of Fallen Down, Home, or Heartache. They will come, but be patient. I mean, you'll have to be patient for the return of Toriel in Act 3, anyway, but still. You won't be able to record as soon as you had previously hoped. I'm trying to get this done as soon as possible, but I can't be rushed. The cycle of my torment is endless. Haha.

As for further auditions, we may not have any until I'm actually done with the parts I'm looking for. However, by the looks of things, I may need to go ahead and have more auditions for Flowey as we have had NO GUYS AUDITION!!! PLEASE SEND ALL OF YOUR MALE FRIENDS WHO ARE TENORS THIS WAY!!! WE WELCOME YOU!!! WE HAVE COOKIES!!!

So, I would like to say that I thought I had this picked and set in stone, and then I realised some of you have some excellent pairs of chords on you, and Frisk and Chara talk a lot more than they sing, and so I want to make sure you'd be best at Frisk/Chara and not Toriel, Undyne, Alphys, Muffet, or just a part with more songs. For everyone (especially those who get a callback), if you don't get it (or even if you do and are able to pull it off) be sure to follow the project. I'll hold a Part 2 audition which will have Nabstablook, more Flowey (if no one else auditions), Little Asriel, and Chorus, and I definitely need all the people I can get to audition for those.

Child soprano, though does not sing much until the very end of the show. Must be able to illustrate a great deal of emotion. Though, it's completely fine if you don't think you can perform Chara, or if you don't think you can perform Frisk. In the end, I may pick two separate actors, but I'd prefer it to be the same. Chara does not sing, but is very sing-songy with most of her lines, in an excessively creepy, taunting manner.
(As Chara) We could go back. We could do this all over again, but kill everyone just for the fun of it. And then, when we're all done, we can go back and spare everyone, and no one will ever know except me, you, Asriel, and... one other person. But I don't know that much about him. Or why he knows. I'd like to go back and find out. What do you say?
(As Frisk) (to Monster Kid) Well, you can be MY friend, then! How about it? Come on! You can walk with me. I'm walking to... well, whatever's after this town.
