Project Roles: Sadie Rogard
Voice Actor
Voice Actor
Sadie Rogard
open
Unpaid

Voice: Mid-range, though open to hearing interpretation. Sadie is within her first few years of transition, so she may still be finding the voice that fits her.

** We only want to cast this role to transwomen. We're going for authenticity for our series and to have a trans person played by someone who is cis feels disingenuous.

Sadie never felt entirely comfortable in her own skin, and it was when she ended up staying back for tenth grade and met hanley in an English class she felt like something actually was right for once. For whatever reason, the tiny angel stuck around the asshole punk, the two determined to make it through everything together. Regardless of family being ridiculous, they ended up eloping shortly after graduation, Sadie originally working some odd jobs while Hanley was determined to finish schooling. It was only after their first child Sadie realized she needed to step up and became a firefighter. Years of service, close calls, and almost losing Hanley during the birth of their twins, it became clearer what was off in Sadie's life, and she began transitioning from a male identity to female. Sadie and Hanley struggled for a while to find a balance, but with Hanley's unending love and encouragement for her wife to do what makes her happy, they finally found the place that made them both very happy.

  • [annoyed gradually shifting to nervous]"What do you mean 'where's the baby?' He's right... uh... you know, I think you came just in time for a game of hide-and-seek-- yeah, okay, I'll find Soren."

  • "Come off it! You know it would have been easier to leave my ass behind rather than have to explain to the kids why their father is now parading around in a dress and why your husband is fucked up!"

  • "Daaaamn. My fire alarms are going off! Here I thought I was off duty tonight~ ... Hanley, I'm hitting on you! There isn't a real fire!"
