Despite being born in Australia, Matthew does not have a strong accent due to moving to America when he was younger. It's faint, but still distinguishable. His voice is not low, more of a upper-middle pitch, and tends to squeak a lot despite his age with the effort of keeping it lower.
Generally, he's extremely snarky and rude, and even when he is, he tends to mask it all in anger. He is the living embodiment of anger issues most of the time.
