The Walking Dead Comic (Fan Voice Over)
Project Overview

This is just for fun, but we're broadening the team in order to involve as many people as we can and make this with some real quality to it. Ideal for someone just getting started or wanting practice or just looking to have fun! We're not looking for anything too formal, although we keep it as professional as possible.
All submissions will be considered. We will reply to ALL submissions once reviewed.

Andrea once again has a slow roll. She begins as a small side character, but becomes one of the leads with importance rivaling Rick Grimes himself. She slowly becomes an expert marksman and struggles to find her place in the group as she hones this skills. Andrea has many emotional scenes throughout the series.
Once again, no lines for this one. Show some good range, try and have fun with it!
Lori is the wife of Rick, the main protagonist. She has a lot of speaking lines and great importance through the story for this reason. She has lots of emotionally heavy scenes throughout her tenure.
Run with it. No specific lines for this character. Just be able to show range. Go nuts!
Shane is a suborn and headstrong character. He is often directly clashing and arguing with the main protagonist, Rick Grimes.
[You're in a forest arguing with a lifelong friend] (Frustrated) Think Rick! We'll be lost out there. The Army is going to drive through here any day now with supplies and shelter and all this will just go away...I don't want to risk being out in the country...I don't want to risk being left behind!
*Add any other lines from Issues 1-6. Shane's typically going on angry monologues.*
Allen is a man with his family trying to survive. He has few lines.
What'd you get this time, Glenn? [Glenn answers] (Excitedly) Great!
Carol is the mother of Sofia and a small character in the beginning. She eventually serves as the series' example for the mental strain the end of the world puts on people.
Sophia's father was the breadwinner. I sold some Tupperware out of catalogues from time to time but it was really just to friends and neighbors. I couldn't have considered it a job. My husband was a car salesman. They used to say he could talk anyone into anything...he talked me into marrying him...talked me into staying with him after...
Donna is Allen's wife and a sweet older woman. She has more than a few speaking lines throughout the first few issues.
[After meeting Rick as he reunites with his wife and son] My word...That's the best news I've heard all month! Shane, darling...come with me...these two have some catching up to do.
Jim is in very few issues. He mainly serves the story as the first time the reader see's a zombie bite victim. He spends most of his time in the issues sick and in pain.
[Fending off a group of zombies] (Angry) My family! My family! [Jim begins striking the zombie with the grip of his weapon savagely] You killed them!!!
[After being restrained and calmed] (Defeated) It killed my family...
Morgan is a simple man making his way through the apocalypse with his son, Duane. He gains a larger role later in the the story, but as of the beginning is only in one issue.
[Explaining the state of the world to a man who's just awoken in the apocalypse] All media shut down after a few weeks. I haven't heard much of anything after that. If they found a way to stop it...they haven't made it here yet. Those things are everywhere. A good blow t the head will take 'em out. That's why the boy whacked you with our shovel. Nothing much else seems to faze them.
Sofia begins the story as a young girl and grows to a teenager as the story progresses. She is a minor character but grows in importance later in the series.
[Playing with another child in the sandpit] Do you think my daddy will come back too? [Carl: Ain't your daddy dead?] Yeah but so was your daddy and he came back. [Carl My daddy was just sick. He wasn't dead] Oh...I miss my daddy.
Duane is Morgan's Son. He has very few lines and is essentially just a child extra.
[After whacking what he believed to be a zombie in the head] (Excitedly) Dad! He was going to try to eat us, dad.
We currently only have one editor. We could up our production value and speed with additional editors on board!
