The Valorant Community Scares Me (Youtube Video Project)

Project Overview

Hello! My name is Lona and I've decided to pursue a passion I've had for a while: Making YouTube Videos! This project will almost entirely be made in my own free time. This video/animation I plan to make involves story telling my weird experience playing with the Valorant community (as you've probably gathered from the title). I am currently in the process of recording my lines and making a storyboard. I now need a few voices to represent the players I've interacted with. That's where you may come in!


Before you continue, please read the following:

This video will highlight suggestive/intimate topics. I've tried to make it as PG as possible but these scenarios make it difficult to do so. For this reason, you MUST be 18 years or older to audition. Any minors will be immediately rejected. I will verify age after the voice actors are chosen for the next stage.


Voice Actors:

Please keep in mind that most of your voice lines will be in the suggestive/flirty context. If you're familiar with Valorant, you may already know. 


If you suspect you may be uncomfortable voicing these lines or uncomfortable with it being on YouTube, please do not audition! I value the comfort of the people I work with. You may change your mind before the video is uploaded (Expected at the end of October), but after it is uploaded, I don't plan to take it down. Please keep this in mind.


I also require that if you are selected that you do not talk about the script/voice lines/anything related to the video until after it is uploaded. I appreciate your patience!


I prefer clear audio! Please limit echoes and background noise as much as possible.

    Thank you all again for auditioning! I wanted to reply to everyone but there's a limit to how many I can respond to in a certain timeframe. Please know that I loved all applications and it was very hard to choose amongst all of you!

For this role, I will need you to join me in a custom game as I take pictures and shots I will be featuring in the video. You will be credited in the description! If you prefer not to be named, then I can leave it out, no problem. Your username will not be shown in the video (or I'll try to, I'll at least blur it if necessary). 


Software needed: 

Valorant (preferably with experience)

Discord (So I can give instructions live! Trust me, this is needed. You don't need to talk if you don't want to!)


Other requirements:

Accounting for mistakes and preparation, this will likely take a few sessions. Aiming for Friday and Saturday Evenings/Night, likely starting around 7-8pm EST. I will adjust if needed. These sessions aim to be around 2 hours long. I'll absolutely try to make it as quick as possible, but no more than 2 hours at a time. I understand if things get in the way while recording, don't worry about stepping away! That's why I plan to have backup players just in case.


For your audition, I just need you to write:

1) "I'm interested" or similar 

2) Either your Discord or Valorant username (You can DM this if you don't want it public!)

3) (This is optional, but preferred) A past recording of you playing Valorant to ensure you are not toxic/trolling
