The Valerine Manor

Project Overview

The Valerine Manor is an original animated series made by Natalie Sullivan and Maya Schiek. It's a story about a boy, Mitch, who goes into a haunted house and gets cursed with a pretty... unfortunate affliction. The (comedy) series follows Mitch after the events in the manor as he tries to regain control of his life.

So, my friend and co-director, Maya, and I have had some trouble with the original voice actor for Ian, but we can't work on the show without him having one, since he's an important part of the show.
Ian is what Maya and I consider one of the  "Main Boys," including Mitch, the main character, Joey, and Thomas.

  • Closed and Casting

    Hi guys! So... it's been 2 weeks since this casting call closed, and I thank you guys so SO much for auditioning! 8 auditions is WAY more than I thought I would get! I'm currently trying to figure out a day to deliberate with the co-director of the series, Maya, over who gets the role. Problem is, it's our senior year of high school and we are both EXTREMELY busy. We're scrambling to figure out a day when we can both get together to cast Ian's role. I'm shooting to get it cast by the end of this week, but if not, just hang tight! We'll get the part chosen soon enough! Thank you for your patience!

Ian is teetering on the line between being a jock and being a nerd. He hangs out with his three loser friends, Joey, Mitch, and Thomas, but he's always trying to work his way up to hanging out with the cool kids. Because of this, he can be a bit of a jerk and has a tendency to blow his friends off to be with the "cooler" kids.
He tries to act cool and tough, but he's actually a huge dork.

  • There it is, boys, the Valerine Manor! (As if telling a scary story) They say people who go in there are never the same… if they come out.

  • (Nervous) Haha no um I said I was gonna take my nerd friends to go see it. I never said I was gonna go IN. Going in was kind of a spur of the moment thing.

  • (Proud but borderline arrogant) No! I'm not kidding! He really went in!
