We grownups have to be careful with candy and presents and everything wrapped up in Christmas. All of our bustling around from store to store. Sometimes we are looking for those things to make us happy. But really they should be reminders... to help us stop and remember that we give gifts to say to our friends... I am willing to love you through my pain as Christ has loved me. And so Marianne, that is why this candy cane has this funny shape.
