Eva Colington is the youngest out of the the siblings. She was traveling in Europe until she came home for Christmas. She realized that her brother, Gerald, is having a Surpirse Christmas Party for their Aunt Francis, yet Eva finds out that he is only doing this because he is trying to get on Aunt Francis' good side so he can become the proprietor of her will.
[Cheerful] Surprised to see me Baxter?
[Shocked] A party? Did you say party?
[Shocked] In honor of Aunt Francis? Did you mean to tell me that Joe is giving a party for Aunt Francis?
[Shocked] Tremming the…. This I got to see![Please give a loud Scream - Eva found her bother on the ground dead!]
[Crying] Joe… Joe… [Continues Crying]
Yes, and not having gotten the letter; don’t you think Clyde may be still somewhere in this house, waiting his chance?
You’re the Lawyer who broke the news about Unclove Frasier’s Will, aren’t you?[Serious tone] Before you do. [Pulls out a gun] Put up your hands!
I’m sorry Mister Elkot, I’m really quite sorry you two who aren’t members of this “Greedy” little family had to stumble on the truth!
I’m afraid so too. I’m afraid there’ll still have to be two more murders before the party’s over.
[Scared] And I still have a skin to save… Either you open that door, or I’ll pull this trigger!
Gerald Colington is the oldest of the three siblings. Gerald found out that Aunt Francis has inherited a million dollars so he's decided to try and get Aunt Francis's affection by setting up a Surprised Christmas Party an spoiling her with expensive gifts. Gerald soon finds out that before Aunt Francis inherited the million dollars, Clyde, his brother, wrote Gerald a letter wishing for them to put Aunt Francis into an old women’s home. with this letter, he tends to use it against Clyde and become the beneficiary of Aunt Francis Will.....
[Cheerful/Surprised] Eva! What a happy surprise, I can’t tell you.
For your Aunt Francis. Is it so strange Eva, that I want our Aunt to have a lovely tree?
You may speak for our brother Clyde but as for me, I have always adored the dear old fool.
An antique music box, the sort of thing she loves and in solid gold. [Turns the key] Isn’t it charming? Listen [The Antique Music Box plays a tune] God bless ye a merry Christmas.Only yesterday. A mister Elkot, attorney, member of the fellow Elkot, Elkot in Duveen in Boston brought us the news.
Nonsense, I’m quite sure I’ll be a beneficiary, as you will Eva. So, I doubt that Clyde will benefit very much, is that all?
I’ll tell you why not. Amusing really, quite amusing. The day before yesterday before Mr. Elkot appeared of course, Clyde was fortunate enough to have written me a certain letter.I’ll risk his love… [Opens the door] I must go upstairs and wrap the music box for Aunt Francis, if the guests arrive; you’ll greet them for me, won’t you?
[Concerned] Whose there? [Relieved] Oh, come in. [The Door closes] I’ll be finish this wrapping in a moment. Hmm, there now, I think this makes a very charming little gift, don’t you? [Pause] I said, don’t you? [Pause] [Annoyed] I said- [Gets shot] Agh! [Drops the Music box and falls to the floors, the music box plays] *Groan* [Dies]
Mister Elkot is the Lawyar of the "late" Unclove Fraiser. He came to inform Aunt Francis that she has inherited his million dollars. But as they came to the house, they find out that Clyde "Murdered" Gerald. As Mr. Elkot and the rest of the group wait with the others for the police arrive, it seems that he has a secret that he does not was to share....
Charmed Miss Lane.
One in the same, Miss Carrington. And happy I was to bare such tidies. Such as in this joyful season.[Concerned] Are the Police coming, Mister Cranston?
[Charming] A proper gift, for a golden-haired lady.
I don’t know, but there’s certainly no doubt that Clyde’s guilty of Gerald’s murder. Baxter saw him run up to Gerald’s study just before Gerald was killed. Is that so? [Concerned] But there’s that cigar, the one that Miss Eva saw in the Ashtray. Didn’t that belong to Clyde?
[Shocked] Well-What... [Concerned] What are you suggesting, Miss Lane?
[Nervous] But I- I have been with Aunt Francis all afternoon! I was with at the moment when Mister Gerald was murdered.
And Unclove Frasier never made a Will. In fact, Unclove Frasier isn’t even dead, although just at this moment, he almost wishes he were.
