Thanks so much to everyone who sent in an audition for The Seven Districts of Sin! The casting call has finally reached its end. We've been going through all of your auditions today, and it's wonderful to hear all of these great renditions of our characters. With nearly 500 auditions (including the e-mail auditions), it'll be hard for us cast the roles. Still, even if you aren't personally cast in the end, we do hope that it won't discourage anyone from trying out for our future roles. And, hopefully our future projects will have more roles than just five. If you do end up being one of our final choices, you'll receive a PM or e-mail by the 26th, and we'll confirm that you're still available to take the role. Thanks again to everyone. We're so excited to see how the game comes to life.

General Update
Hey, guys! We'd just like to give a general update on the game. The script is now complete up to scene 3 and is over 30,000 words. In addition, our logo for the game is now complete, and the project cover image has been updated to reflect that. As for future work, scene 4 should be completed right around when the auditions are set to end. Moving on, I'd just like to clarify how the auditions will go from here on out. As I'm sure you've all noticed, we now have over 300 total auditions. That is quite a bit of files to listen to. For that reason, we will only be judging auditions after the campaign ends. From there, it may take us a few days to finalise our decisions on the roles. We expect that it could take up to a week, so please bear with us. Thank you! -
Thank you for an amazing day 1!
Thank you to everyone who has auditioned already! We're overwhelmed by the ~60 auditions we've received in the past 24 hours. We can't wait to hear all of your amazing takes on the characters we've put so much love into preparing these past few months. Especially your Gaki auditions; you already know why, I'm sure.
Anzu is the governess of the Kumonoito district. She's a wily succubus who knows how to get her own way and, above all else, wishes to be entertained.
“Not you. Her. Answer me: why are you here? My taxes are not due for another millennium.” (Annoyed, serious, sarcastic)
“But I thought we were doing things as standard, not common. Though, you are probably both.” (teasing, insulting)
“Yes, you are a commoner. Return once your father has croaked, and then I will consider considering you more than worthless. Until then... OUT!” (annoyed, serious, angry)
Saleos is kind but reserved vampire who likes humans and things that smell like humans a little too much. He's awkward but well intentioned.
“A councillor…? Is that the lie he’s telling now?” (serious, mocking)
“I should have said something earlier. I was just thinking of how to best phrase it, and I guess I’ve been thinking for a long time, and now I’ve done something strange.” (apologetic)
“They grew up into fine men and women, but… they all died in the war, just like their father. Their mother never forgave me.” (nostalgic, sad)
Kali is the governess' loyal aide, who most definitely does not see the governess in a strictly platonic manner. She's quiet and tries to mask her emotions, although her anger often gets the best of her.
“My governess has nothing to hide. Your search here will be fruitless.” (serious)
“I believe you withstood the torture well, my lady.” (serious)
“May I throw her out? Once she’s gone, all can be perfect again.” (pleading, serious)
Gaki is a mischievous, energetic, playboy kitsune who says really outrageous, embarrassing things, including somewhat disturbingly lewd things.
“Her cream panties cannot fool me. I know they simply mask the warm gushes of her feminine arousal.” (serious, excited?)
“Dearest beauty, I accept you. Because, you know what they say: you can always tell a woman’s libido by her sock drawer, and I have no doubt in my mind that your sock drawer is full of week-old, sweaty, athlete’s foot-ridden, cum-stained socks.” (Like a really proud, inspiring speech.)
“Are you absolutely certain I can’t help you with your needs?” (serious, seductive)
Lucifer is the ruler of Hell. They are genderless and therefore quite androgynous. Most of all, Lucifer likes to cause mayhem, and hates insubordination more than anything.
“A bug… You’re like a tiny, little bug.” (taunting)
“Do you truly think that was an appropriate thing to ask me?” (annoyed, commanding)
“Misunderstand?! INSUBORDINATION!” (angry)
