12-year-old daughter of Katniss and Peeta. Twin to Holden Everdeen. Gets reaped for The Hunger Games, but even the deadly competition won’t stop her from being overly sarcastic.
“Really, Holden? You really want to do that?” [Sassy, sarcastic tone]
“Uh huh. Because there aren’t Peacekeepers everywhere you look.” [sarcastic]
“Oh dear lord, what do we do now?” [worryful]
Holden is the twelve-year-old son of Katniss and Peeta. The twin to Maryland, he is reaped for The Hunger Games But hopes that his intellectual status will save him.
“Hey is that Uranium, Maryland?”
“I just.......I don’t want to die. But I don’t want you to die either.......honestly, we should just run away.”
“Oh, please don’t tell me you’re going for the Cornicopia!”
Katniss, now 42 years old and married to Peeta, is the mother of Holden and Maryland. She is also their mentor come The Games, and does her very best to advise them while statying strong herself. The only problem is that they don’t always listen....
“Why? Of all things, why?”[voice full of sorrow]
“For the sake of my sanity, will you please go clean your room?”
“NO! Final answer! You will not do it if I say not to. And I forbid it.”
Enyo is the daughter of Enobaria and takes after her mother in more than one way. She’s a very intimidating Career that will eventually figure out Maryland and Holden’s plan...
“I’d like to see how you hold up against my sword.”
It’s safe to say that Tiberius, the son of Brutus, isn’t the sharpest crayon in the box. But it is very safe (actually very dangerous) to ensure that his knives will always be the sharpest.
“Give me one good reason not to kill you right now.
Cassandra, following in her mother Cashmere’s footsteps, is a Career. Though she can’t throw a knife as well as District Two, she’s fast, and she’ll have you crying for your Momma on her insults alone.
“You look just like your mom. Just as pathetic too.”
True to his father Gloss’ legacy, Mars is a very capable Career. Alongside his cousins Cassandra, you may as well consider him lethal.
“That’s okay. I know that not everyone is even worth being in this Arena.
Peacefull and quiet, Fae Odair is nothing like her parents Finnick and Annie Odair. She allies with Holden, and their quick wits and peacefull nature’s combined prove to be deadly against all odds.
“Shhh. Quiet or they’ll hear you!”
Peeta, now forty-two year’s old and married to Katniss, is now coaching Holden for The Hunger Games. Actors for this portrayal must be able to exemplify emotion in their voice.
[sigh] Don’t you think that’s a little dramatic?
I wouldn’t do that if I were you.....
It’ll be fine. Everything will be alright.
Livia is the rock-solid Head gamemaker this year. Following in her father Seneca’s footsteps, she’s determined to do it right.
No excuses. My orders came from Vincent himself. And he wants her dead.
Ah, that’s perfect. That’s great.
The Odair’s can stay for awhile. But the Sixes just aren’t worth it.
After his father died six months before the 75th Games, Vincent Snow took his rightful place as Panem's ruler. Unfortunately, he's no less sinister than his father.
"We, the people of Panem, have gathered here today to witness what might be the most memorable Hunger Games in Panem's history."
"Livia, why do we do this every year?"
"Then there's only one option. The Everdeen's must die.
When Caesar was forced to retire years ago, there was no better choice to fill his role than his son.
"And here they are: The tributes of this year's Hunger Games!"
"Next on our stage is the lovely Cassandra Tanner!"
"Now Maryland, you're only twelve, right?"
The lovely Ellie Trinket has been an escort since her mother, Effie retired to live a more peaceful life. Ellie, however, did not grow up thinking that the Capitol's ways were best. Her father Haymitch taught her that much.
"And it seems it is time to select our tributes from District 12!"
"I'm so sorry, my darlings. So sorry."
"Mum, will you check and see if my corset is tight enough?"
Effie, now married to Haymitch and having a daughter that she loves to death, will always be there for Katniss and her children. She's taken on quite the motherly figure.
"Of course dear."
"Remember, Mummy loves you."
"CHILDREN! IT'S BEEN FOREVER!!!!!!'
Primrose, now thirty-eight and married to Rory Hawthorne, has grown particularly close to Maryland, and is something of a best friend to her.
"You know, I said that all the time when I was your age."
"Maryland, you be yourself no matter what they say."
The narrator’s job is mainly to escort the story from one point of view to another.
And so it was said that Maryland and Holden had no choice.
Ah, but Enyo can’t be in the dark forever. Let’s take a closer look.
