The Rise of Scourge II YOUTUBE COMIC DUB II

A former housecat who rose to power in the city as a stray. Tormented by his siblings in his youth, Scourge-- originally named "Tiny" in reference to his abnormal size-- sought to prove his strength and bravery to a world that judged him for his frail physique. Albeit a fair cat, Scourge is quick to vengeance and even quicker to manipulate; as he realizes the ways of street life, he loses the innocence of his youth and hardens into a cold, cutthroat leader in the sheer name of survival. 

As the main character and narrator of The Rise of Scourge, be prepared to record a great deal of lines across the span of this project. Any voice actors auditioning for this role must be able to provide both an adult and child rendition of his voice comfortably; the majority of this comic happens during Scourge's youth, and I would prefer to have one person voice him throughout the project. Please don't strain your voice attempting to make him seem younger, though! Drink plenty of water! Woo, health!

Any accent is acceptable for this role.

Scourge's sister-- and tormentor. As a kitten, Ruby would do her best to make Scourge feel like a nuisance; one of her cruel jokes is what drove Scourge to run away from home. As an adult, she finds herself at his mercy when her housefolk abandon her.

The majority of this character's lines are read during her childhood; when auditioning, please make sure that you can comfortably provide both a child and adult rendition of her voice. Albeit a supporting character, her lines beyond the opening handful of scenes are sparse.

Socks, like Ruby, is both a sibling and terror to Scourge. Preferring to play with his sister, this cat constantly belittled Scourge throughout his kithood; when he is abandoned by his housefolk as an adult, his fate is left in the paws of Scourge himself.

Socks does not have many lines, particularly as an adult; although his character holds significance in the story, there is little to record on his behalf. His voice actor must be able to produce both a child and adult rendition of his voice comfortably, but the audition will be judged mostly concerning how his younger voice sounds.

Scourge's saving grace. The loving mother to Socks, Ruby, and Scourge, Quince is often the only character that stands in the way of Scourge's childhood torment; protective and sweet, she does her best to ensure all of her kits are given proper affection.

All of Quince's lines are at the beginning of the story; if her voice actor wishes to voice extras when she is no longer an active character, they are encouraged to do so. Her voice should sound somewhat middle-aged and inherently kind.

A massive tabby tom with a thirst for power and penchant for cruelty. Ambitious and proud, Tigerpaw-- later Tigerstar-- is responsible for mauling Scourge in the forest as a kitten; The Rise of Scourge details Scourge's pursuit of vengeance against Tigerpaw.

Tigerpaw should have a particularly deep voice; even as a teenager, he should sound booming and commanding of attention. He will not have many lines throughout this project, but his significance as a character is undoubtable. He is a villain; he is conniving; he is Tigerpaw, and he will not stop until the world knows it.

One of the warriors Scourge first encounters in the forest. Levelheaded and cool, Bluefur was the only thing that stood between Tigerpaw killing Scourge in cold blood.

Bluefur has about five lines in this entire project. After her character is inactive, her voice actor will be allowed to voice extra characters if willing.

One of the warriors Scourge first encounters in the forest. Ruthless and dyingly loyal to Thunderclan, he encouraged Tigerpaw to beat up Scourge over a mere border mishap.

These are the nearly all of the lines Thistleclaw has in this entire project. After completing the sparse remaining voice lines, you will not have to provide any more unless you would like to step in as a voice for extras.

A street cat that discovers Scourge and helps bring him to power. Skeptical, cynical, and blunt, Bone is a ragged stray with little compassion; toughened by life, he pushes Scourge to chase off a dog for him.

Bone should speak slowly in an almost worn-out sense; as an alley cat, he has lived a life bare of comfort. 

A fierce stray and friend of Bone. Brick helps Scourge rise to power by goading him into brawling a dog.

Brick does not have many lines nor much definition of his character; unique takes on his voice are encouraged.

The extra characters in The Rise of Scourge. Be it a child, a stray, a foe of Scourge, or a friend of Scourge, the opportunities are limitless for the unnamed characters of this world.

Multiple people will be cast for this role as a great deal of lines in The Rise of Scourge are delivered by unnamed characters. Feel free to audition with a demo reel; the key to this role is range.
