Marco is the owner of the club 'The Rhythm Section' and is a LOT older than he looks. Although he appears to be in his twenties, the man's actual age far surpasses that. As a result, he speaks in a very proper, English accent and uses formal register most of the time. His voice is neither high nor low, but rather somewhere in the middle, and he is cheeky and witty in character. He can, however, be solemn when it matters and has a strong moral compass (although he acts on it in questionably).
Marco: (sighing)
Sometimes I wonder about what I’ve gotten us into, little brother.Marco: (smiling innocently) Did you
leave anything behind, darling?Marco: (cheekily) Aww, now don’t tell me you
believe my ‘training’ methods to be ineffective, Michael. At least she leaves
her prey alive now.
Michael is Marco's younger brother, by a few years. Thus, his looks are equally as deceiving when it comes to his actual age. Therefore, he sports the same highbrow English accent as his brother and speaks in formal register. He is much sterner than his older brother and is extremely intolerant of actions he finds immoral. His voice is deeper than his brother's but not extremely deep. All in all, he is often mistaken to be the elder of the siblings due to the pair's contrast in personality.
Michael: (snarling) What
will he remember?Michael: (disdainful)
Her prey? (pause) I don’t
understand why you insist on her ‘redemption’, brother. She has proven herself
time and time again to be beyond deliverance.Michael: (sneering/mocking)
Hello, Nevina.
Nevina Smirnov has an ironic name. The name 'Smirnov' is derived from the Russian 'Smyrnoi', which means "meek". This beautiful temptress is anything but that. She is extremely seductive (it's in her nature, but we'll talk about that later) and has a low, husky voice. She also has quite the temper and does not get along with Michael at ALL. However, she finds him quite intimidating and so settles for cracking wise at him whenever she gets the chance. Lucky for her, as her employer of a sort, Marco protects her from his brother's wrath...most of the time.
Nevina: (seductive) Why I
practically live here, officer. (brief pause) The owners
felt obliged to set aside a lounge for me, I’m such a loyal customer.Nevina: (grinning
widely) Angel-face!Nevina: (through
gritted teeth) Nothing you need to worry about, cherub. (she says this nickname scornfully). I always do damage control.
Anthony Romano (his friends call him Tony) is new on the police force and was asked to check out the popular new club in town. Unfortunately for him, he meets a certain seductress that night and is thrown into the adventure of a lifetime. His voice is middle-ranged. He's an anxious person, is all, and his voice can get higher when he is nervous.
Police officer: (sighs)
I still don’t see why the chief had me take a look at this place. It’s clean. No
illegal substances, a valid liquor license…besides, the vibe is awesome. I don’t
see why anyone’d wanna have it shut down.Police officer: (gulps) Evening, ma’am. Uh…y-you come here
often?Police officer: (screams
in terror).
