Trying to fight against the costs of a competitive job market, Ruby Zagata moves back to her hometown to room with her childhood friend, Hari. When a party introduces her to one of the most powerful women in town, Ruby finds herself in a world of mobs, drugs, and maybe even romance. (See: Lesbian Mafia)
We are auditioning for Voice Actors who would like to be a part of this podcast.
About auditions:
-VERY MATURE THEMES, There will be adult themes, swearing, mentions of many triggering events, blood, sex, abuse, drugs, murder, and illegal activities. (typical mafia stuff)
-Auditions will only be accepted by those who are 18 or older due to the mature themes.
-Phone recorded auditions will not be accepted, but any type of microphone will be accepted (but know that audio quality is an important factor in casting!)
-This is an LGBT+ themed story, and hate will not be tolerated.
-Some of the main characters have already been cast, but we will need a large entourage of characters.
-Most communication is through discord so please have an account/make one.

A bit of a goofball. She's a very optimistic person even though times have been rough. Dedicated to her beliefs and morals and willing to try new things. Ruby moved to the city in hopes of finding a better job after graduating college. With little money in pocket, she's moved in with her good friend, Hari, who owns his recently deceased parents bakery. Boarding with her old friend and working in his shop in the meantime, she's hopeful moving back home will give her the opportunity she's been searching for.
There was something about that night. The way the lights danced in, the smell of the hot summer air…it all made me so dizzy. It could have been her though. Dancing around me as I struggled to keep up. . She could dance superbly while I tripped over my two left feet. I didn't have to worry though. She swept me off of them.
Do you think this is it for us? We'll always be here, doing the same thing we're always doing? Living the same way we always lived? I just-I don't know. I just wish things were different. I wish I could change them. But even if I could, I don't know what I'd change.

Hari's parents immigrated to Olympus in hopes of escaping the living situation they were in before. Unfortunately, the city greeted them with the typical racism, and before they even began, their dreams were crushed. The winds changed, however, when a fortunate meeting with Don Stavish granted them a good loan, where they could open up a nice bakery. Hari inherited their bakery after they passed away about a year ago, thankfully with only a small payment left to the loan shark. Hari's mother always told them to invite your enemies into your home and let your friends' serve them, so once a month they make an effort to supply the mafia with nice desserts and give the goombas a discount if they ever stop by.
Hari is a hard working person who's trying to keep their head above water. They don't have any specific dreams they're working towards, with their parents' death weighing heavily on their mind, they find it hard to get the motivation to find any dreams anyways. Ruby moving back into their life has definitely began to brighten things up, and at least makes work less stressful with the extra hands.
Ruby, every night we close you act as if you've run a marathon. Ease up on the carb intake, I have to sell some of this stuff.

The Godmother's father. It’s a complicated story for Joseph and his daughter. His wife passed away when his daughter way very young and he didn’t have the room in his heart to replace her. It was frustrating though, knowing that there wouldn’t be someone to inherit his ‘family.’ As great as his daughter was at all the work involved-he’d be the laughing stock of Olympus should he let a woman take over head of the family.

When auditioning for her, think of talking down to someone you strongly dislike. (And a sarcastic laugh would be attached somewhere too)

Rumor has it that some guy once tried to poison her because he fell in love with her, you know, keep her captive and "take care of her" --Just like that Stephen King movie, Misery, and all that crap. You've seen that movie, haven't you? Where the puts the block of wood in between that guys' ankles, and gets a sledge hammer and…well, Sledge decided to return the favor. That guy can't walk now. I mean, he's dead, but when she let him suffer for a few days, he couldn't walk.
You can always rely on her to get things done. All types of voices for her are accepted.

Harvey is a rather full of himself kind of guy. He thinks he knows it all and everything he does is right. Is a 'I'm gonna change the world' kind of mental. Harvey is our very unfortunate thorn in the side. He's not a new cop, just new to the area. He knows this town needs cleaning up, and he wants to do it. Mostly for the recognition, but I suppose any motivation to do good is, in fact, good.
He's not listening to me. There's clearly evidence that these records have been messed with-forged even! We can't let this slide, if the precinct were to come under investigation, then we'd be waist deep in the shit storm that is falsifying evidence!
I guess you're new here. Well, let me tell you, with my squad, we are here to keep everyone safe. No need to worry. I know it's startling when the place next door gets robbed, but we've almost caught the guy and are hanging around this area now for a little bit. And besides, the coffee here is really good, don't see a reason to go any time soon.
