Project Overview
Ever wanna relive the glory days of high school theatre? Neither do we, that’s why we’re retelling our horror stories in hopes that our despair (and need for a cheap laugh) can make your day. Sit down and join us as we revisit: Awkward teachers, hidden romances, and as always a whole lot of drama. Meet Greg Erikson, a self medicating, pill popping director who never got to live out his Broadways dreams. Watch as he guides kids who just want to sing and dance through the ups and downs of puberty. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll wanna take the computer and throw it out the window as characters purposefully fuck their lives and the lives of everyone around them. So come on in and welcome to “The Greenroom!”
Some Requirements
- Be a good actor (PLEASE: NOTHING OVER THE TOP AND NO CHARACTER VOICES, WE WANT YOUR NATURAL VOICE AS AUTHENTIC AS YOU CAN MAKE IT)

Greg- Lazy and apathetic. He hates his job and he hates highschoolers. Despite this, he still has enough energy in him to do a semi decent job.

Rachel- Very soft spoken, but this doesn’t mean she doesn’t speak volumes in other ways. Rachel is an onion with an infinite amount of layers to her. She is not interested in Jake and that will never change. At first she always let others take the reigns, but now that she's an upperclassman with more advanced opportunities she’s ready to take charge.
I spent my summer becoming Pinterest famous. I spend like all my free time at Michaels. No seriously, I really do.
Whatever. Anyways, I’m excited about Mrs. Frank , I think her costume ideas are going to give me a lot to Pin about.
(PERFORMING ANNE FRANK)
“Although I’m only fourteen, I know quite
well what I want, I know who is right and who is wrong.
I have my opinions, my own ideas and principles, and
although it may sound pretty mad from an adolescent, I
feel more of a person than a child, I feel quite
independent of anyone.”
If Greg is the cat , Colin is certainly the dog. An optimist at the heart with a deep passion for theatre . He’s not afraid to stand up to Greg and call him on his bull shit.
Greg is...I’d use the term visionary but that’s somewhat wasted on him. I’ll say this he has talent. Overall I would say he’s misguided somewhat hilarious but he also has some strongly questionable ways of doing things.
What... what was going on? No, Greg you know what was
going on? A group of individuals were taken from their
normal lives, forced to go into hiding and live in
total silence as a fucking tyrant wanted to kill every
last one of them. This isn’t something to fucking joke
about. This is some people’s real life stories. This
isn’t some work of historical fiction you can just warp
and twist to fit your own agenda Greg. We have a
chance, no we have a duty; a duty to portray that boys
life with some god damn decency and respect. And I
won’t stand idly by as you take the lives of these
heroes and fuck them up relentlessly. It’s sick, it’s
disgusting and after that it’s god damn outrageous and
offensive.You may not take your job seriously or even
this story seriously but I do. And so do those kids
Greg and even if you can’t wipe the god damn apathy
off your face I’m going into this project enthusiastic
and excited to portray one of the most heroic stories
I’ve ever heard.
Max- In a word, he’s arrogant and proud of it . He has aspirations of Broadway and won’t let them out of his sight. He’s a douchebag for the sake of being a douchebag. It also should be noted that he doesn’t have any real talent (This will not change) ( Sexual orientation: Ambiguous … do what you will) He’s the guy you love to hate.We would like a nasal like quality to his voice.
My name is Max. Short for Maximillion. My mom said she named me it because I’m her million dollar little man. And I plan to make millions one day off of my iconic voice. I'm also a junior here at Redmont High . And this is my third year in the ADVANCED drama program which really speaks to my versitility and experience as an actor."
To be honest I'm not surprised,there's that old Stanislavsky line "Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art." He obviously never met me when he wrote that

So why did you pick them first?
Okay then....
And have you had a chance to look at the show's this year?
Aria- Aria is young and optimistic. She’s a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Latter Day Saints. She’s a sophomore in season one who’s got high hopes on doing better than she did her freshman year. She may not always get casted for the roles she wants but she’s absolutely not bitter about it. She’s Mormon to the extreme when the series begins but that will change as the series progresses.

Keith- Keith is the guy at the Mom and Pop coffee shop always on his Mac. He’s an artist and a social activist (Especially for LGBTQIA rights). He’s a strong character actor with a knack for stage combat
My name’s Keith . I guess you could say I’m an artist. Everything in life is like a painting waiting to be discovered. Theatre’s alright too I guess.
I don’t really believe in grades, I’m not just a number you know?
Jeff- Jeff is definitely a more serious actor and human, but he does also have a very sily side to him. He’s the person you wanted to be your best friend in high school. Although more serious he’s got a very laid back demeanor.
(When being asked what character he'd like to play) I think Otto, and not because he’s the lead but I think there’s so many directions I can go with him. He’s a really good growing tool for me as an actor. It’s less about having a fun time for me and more about doing a good job and portraying a character believably.
Am I glad about Mr.Frank ? Honestly, I am, but as long as I could tell a good story and do a good job in that’s really all I care about.
(PERFORMING AS OTTO FRANK)
"For me, it was a revelation. There, was revealed a
completely different Anne to the child that I had lost.
I had no idea of the depths of her thoughts and
feelings. I just can’t think how I would go on without
children having lost Edith already... It’s too
upsetting for me to write about them. Naturally, I
still hope, and wait, wait, wait."
Collene – Collene is an over achiever pure and simple. She has a deep love for perfectionism that stems from a deep lacking. When she’s threatened or feels that her worth is at stake she can become extremely upset and can lash out. For her , worth is very much the focus .
Well, I really think our biggest challenge is casting Anne at the moment . All three girls who auditioned did amazing.
I'm responsible for making sure every set piece goes out on time, and every actor is where they're supposed to be.
Hiromi- She’s the most talented and she knows it. She’s got a Rachel Berry like vibe that can come of as arrogant. Deep down she is a young girl given more than she can handle at a young age . She has a troubled family life with an especially deep concern for her sister.
Oh absolutely not, I’m somewhat of a singing prodigy. I was just waiting to find a program that can support my gift. You know?
The lead, as usual. I don’t know honestly some just say greatness really shines down on me with an unmatchable radiance
. Violet- The Luna Lovegood of the theatre. Always quirky and off the wall. At her heart she’s deep and sincere but it’s hard and sincere person which can be tough to see through her overly bizarre essence .
Oh gosh.... hmmmm let me see..Well, Margot in Anne Frank would be really great I think. As for the others, I’m really just hoping I get a role to be honest.
Mrs. Van Pelt wasn’t what I was expecting but I suppose a chance to grace the stage is one request this actress can't refuse
Jake- First and foremost Jake is the Fuckboy. He often carries an acoustic guitar that makes him an incredible tool. He’s pathetic and romantic with a stalker-like obsession for Rachel. However, on numerous occasions he has stated that “Any pussy with a face will do” Everything he does you beg him not to do. Would be cute if everything about him was different.
What did I do this summer? Wrote a lot this summer about the love of my life. My first song was called "Suffocate me With Your Love or I’ll Hang Myself" and my bands name is "The Meninists." It’s a one man band but I guess you could say I have some promising recruits.
Don't deny you want me sexually.
