Adam was a winner archangel and the main antagonist of the first season of Hazbin Hotel. He made his official debut alongside his lieutenant, Lute, in "Overture".
He was the first human man created and the first human soul to enter Heaven. After becoming an angel, he became the commander of the angelic military force known as Exorcists, and served Heaven as forerunner of the Extermination movement.
In "The Show Must Go On", he was defeated by Lucifer Morningstar and killed by Niffty. After his death, his position as head of the Exorcists was passed down to his son, Abel.

Alastor, also known as The Radio Demon, is a sinner demon and one of the many powerful Overlords of Hell. He is one of the main protagonists of Hazbin Hotel.
He is the wickedly charismatic demon who has offered to assist Charlie Morningstar in her endeavors, albeit for his own amusement.
Before being condemned to Hell, Alastor used to be a radio host in New Orleans who acted as a sadistic serial killer at night until he was shot by a hunter when he was mistaken for a deer.
In "It's A Deal", it is revealed that Alastor's soul is owned by Rosie, who was responsible for making him the strongest sinner, and not only the reason behind his 7-year absence, but also the one who sent him to the Hotel. After quitting the Hotel, and in a plan to escape his deal, he faced the Vees and ended up making a deal with Vox, who became his captor.
In "Curtain Call", Alastor uses his deal with Charlie to have her call Vox the strongest sinner in Hell, breaking his deal with Rosie, and knowing of Vox's lack of regard for others' personal space, their deal was also broken when he laid his hands on Charlie, having made him agree not to. He then rejoins the Hotel, having seemingly new motivation involving Lucifer.

Anthony more commonly known as Angel Dust, is an adult film star in Hell and one of the main protagonists of Hazbin Hotel.
A famous porn star who works for Valentino and the first sinner the Hotel is attempting to redeem but his selfish actions of using the Hotel as a rent-free living space threaten to jeopardize Charlie Morningstar's dream.
After reflecting with Husk in "Masquerade" on his own mistreatment and traumas at the hands of Valentino, Angel was finally driven to try and change for the better at the Hotel.
As mentioned by Vox in "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors", the sin that condemned Angel Dust to Hell was murdering his own father.
In "Scream Rain", it is revealed that Angel Dust was an unwittingly brainwashed spy, manipulated by Vox. In "Curtain Call", after Angel was freed, he was guilt-ridden from being controlled, and spying on and hurting his friends because of it, that Angel Dust left the Hotel to keep his friends safe from himself.

Baxter is a sinner demon and a mad scientist employed at VoxTek. He is a supporting character in Hazbin Hotel who makes his debut in "New Pentious".
Setting out to conduct an experiment on the authenticity of the redemption of sinners, he is one of the handful of sinners who stayed at the new Hotel attempting to redeem.
As revealed in "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors", he is Sir Pentious' former lab partner and co-creator of his Egg Boiz before parting ways.

Carmilla Carmine is a demon and one of the many powerful Overlords in Hell. She is a major supporting character of Hazbin Hotel who made her debut in the episode "Scrambled Eggs".
Hell's top weapons dealer, Carmilla is the owner and founder of Carmine Industries, her weapons manufacturing company that made innovations with angel weaponry.
In "Hello Rosie!", Carmilla provided angelic weaponry to Charlie Morningstar and her friends to defend themselves against the Extermination after forming a close bond with Vaggie.
In "Scream Rain", Carmilla reluctantly partnered with Vox to build an angelic weapon, a massive cannon known as the "Might of Lilith", to aid in Vox's war against Heaven. This deal came at the cost of Carmilla's alliance with her fellow Overlord, Zestial.
In "Curtain Call", seeing the destruction and death caused by Vox, Carmilla decides to assist the Hazbin Hotel crew to save Pentagram City from the Might of Lilith, upon which Zestial returned to being Carmilla's ally.

Charlotte Morningstar, more commonly known as Charlie, is the Hellborn princess of Hell, the founder of the Happy Hotel, and the main protagonist of Hazbin Hotel.
The daughter of Lucifer Morningstar and the estranged queen of Hell, Lilith, Charlie wants to do right by her kingdom and find a way to redeem Sinners into Heaven through rehabilitation at the Hazbin Hotel.
In "Curtain Call", after the defeat of Vox and the failure of his attempted rebellion, Charlie, with the help of her friends, managed to demonstrate the possibility of redemption with the first redeemed sinner, Sir Pentious, which brought numerous sinners to stay at the Hotel to attempt at redemption.

Cherri Bomb is a sinner demon and a major character in Hazbin Hotel. She is one of Angel Dust's close friends and partner in crime.
After reflecting on her feelings for her former arch-enemy Sir Pentious in "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors", she became one of the guests staying at the Hotel attempting to redeem.
In "Curtain Call", Cherri assists in the rescue operation to save Angel Dust from Vox's mind control and imprisonment. After Vox's plans are foiled, she and Sir Pentious are reunited via video call, and with the amended relations between Heaven and Hell, she and Sir Pentious began communicating long-distance, with Emily as the messenger to send each other letters and gifts.

Emily is a seraphim angel and a major supporting character in Hazbin Hotel who made her debut in "Welcome to Heaven".
After learning about the "Extermination", Emily promises Charlie Morningstar that she will help in her dream about redeeming sinners. She is later seen trying to find a way to fix the mistakes made by Heaven and to avoid a potential war against Hell.
In "Weapon of Mass Distraction" and "Curtain Call", Emily joined forces with Charlie and her friends to stop Vox's plan to conquer Heaven, saving the lives of many sinners, including Alastor himself, from the angelical weapon known as the "Might of Lilith", suffering a wound on her wing in the process. She collaborated with many Overlords, sinners, Charlie and her friends to stop the weapon from exploding and destroying Pentagram City.
After confirming to everyone in Hell that redemption is possible, and finally achieving peace between the realms, Emily is now actively helping with the Hotel, constantly visiting and sending gifts from Heaven as well as being in charge of welcoming any future redeemed souls who ascend to Heaven.

Husk is a sinner demon, a grumpy gambler and magician, and a former Overlord of Hell who is a major character in Hazbin Hotel.
After losing his soul and status to Alastor in a gamble, he has since been summoned alongside Niffty to work for the Hazbin Hotel, where he operates as the hotel's front desk clerk and bartender. Despite losing his Overlord status, Husk retains the power of one, being able to put up a fight against Velvette in "It's A Deal" and Valentino in "Curtain Call".

He is the father of Charlie Morningstar and the estranged husband of Lilith. He is the ruler of all of Hell and the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins, embodying the sin of Pride, and is also the creator of the Hellborn race of Goetic demons.
After "The Show Must Go On", Lucifer stayed at the Hazbin Hotel to help Charlie and her staff redeem sinners. As of "Silenced", however, Charlie told her father to leave the Hotel after his role in prompting Vox's declaration of war against Heaven.
In "Weapon of Mass Distraction", he was captured by Vox, who had pretended to be Charlie, and was used as the power source to fire his weapon, the "Might of Lilith", but was later freed when the machine was destroyed in "Curtain Call". He then returned to the Hotel.

Rosie is the co-owner turned sole owner of Rosie's Emporium after Franklin's death and is one of the many Overlords in Hell. She first appeared in the Hazbin Hotel pilot and made her official debut in the episode "Scrambled Eggs".
As revealed in "It's A Deal", Rosie owns Alastor's soul, after he, as a human, made a deal with her to make him the most powerful Sinner in Hell when he dies.
In "Curtain Call", Alastor is able to break out of Rosie's deal using Charlie by making her say that Vox is the strongest sinner in Hell. Alastor later proposed a new deal to her in which he would help stop the Might of Lilith from overloading if she fixed his staff.

Pendleton, more commonly known as Sir Pentious, is a winner angel and former sinner demon. A former antagonist who made his debut in the pilot, he is now one of the main characters of Hazbin Hotel, and is the first sinner to achieve redemption.
He was a Victorian era demon striving to be modern and cool and has a passion for building steampunk machines of destruction. His goal in the pilot was to conquer Hell using his machines and army of Egg Boiz. After being forgiven by Charlie in "Radio Killed the Video Star", he became the second guest the Hotel was attempting to redeem.
As revealed in "Storyteller", in life, Pendleton was a reclusive inventor living in London. In 1888, he witnessed and remained silent about a murder by one of his clients who would go onto kill five more women, a secret which Pendleton took to his grave.
After sacrificing himself for his friends in "The Show Must Go On", making up for the sins of his past, Sir Pentious was reborn as a winner angel and transported to Heaven, becoming the first known sinner to be redeemed.
After revealing his redemption to all of Hell in "Curtain Call" and proving Charlie's dream of redemption was truly possible, Sir Pentious was given the title of "First Redeemed" by the Hazbin Hotel staff and inspired many sinners that want to change for the better.

Velvette (pronounced Velvet) is one of the many Overlords in Hell. She is a major antagonist of Hazbin Hotel season 1, and one of the main antagonists of season 2, alongside Vox and Valentino.
She is a close associate of Vox and Valentino and is the self-proclaimed "backbone of the Vees". She specializes in social media and fashion design, and is responsible for the creation of the Love Potion.

Vincent Whittman, more commonly known as Vox, is one of the bigger antagonists in Hazbin Hotel, being a major antagonist in season 1, and the main antagonist of season 2.
He is a sinner demon and one of the many powerful Overlords of Hell. Vox is the founder, former owner, and ex-CEO of VoxTek Enterprises, along with being the de facto leader and former public face of the Overlord trio known as the Vees, alongside Valentino and Velvette.
A technology-savvy businessman, Vox once pulled the strings of Hell's news and entertainment media. He was determined to keep his iron grip over Pentagram City's citizens from the Radio Demon, Alastor, his arch-rival in terms of influence and technology.
As revealed in "Weapon of Mass Distraction", before ending up in Hell, Vincent worked as a TV weatherman, but his desire for prominence drove him to killing in order to rise to higher positions, eventually leading to forming a cult around entertainment, where he served as its leader. In Hell, longing for the adoration he once had and feeling like a god in "New Pentious", Vox persuaded Valentino and Velvette to join his scheme to take over both Heaven and Hell.
In "It's A Deal", Vox agreed to a deal with Alastor that allowed him to hold the Radio Demon captive, gaining him enough recognition in Hell to begin a resistance movement and orchestrate a war against Heaven, being appointed as the voice of Hell's people. He had Carmilla Carmine create his angelic laser cannon, the Might of Lilith, in "Scream Rain", but his master plan failed thanks to the Hazbin Hotel gang's interference in "Curtain Call".
After Alastor broke free of his deals with Rosie and Vox, Vox fought Alastor and began mercilessly destroying the Entertainment District with his superweapon in attempt to kill him. When Hell's populace turned against Vox, and with his threatening to obliterate half of Pentagram City, Valentino and Velvette stopped him from continuing. In the aftermath of the devastation he caused during the battle by Vox and his Might of Lilith, he lost all of his support, and Valentino took over as the new CEO of VoxTek.

Zestial is a demon and one of the many powerful Overlords of Hell, as well as the oldest living Overlord in power. He made a cameo in the pilot and his official debut in "Scrambled Eggs".
In "Silenced", Zestial was not convinced by Vox's proposition for uprising against Heaven and did not join him. Furthermore, he leaves Carmilla's side after she agrees to help Vox in making a powerful angelic weapon in "Scream Rain".
In "Curtain Call", Zestial assists the Hazbin Hotel crew to save Pentagram City from the Might of Lilith overloading, after which he returned to being Carmilla's ally.
