Project Overview
PLEASE READ
If you don't know about it, the comic in the name is about how patrick realizes he's a starfish with all the gruesome details it comes with. And it's all downhill from there. It's an I'm sorry, Jon type of story created by stillinthesimulation, and you can find most of it here, thought the official creator's site will more likely have new pages the imgur link hasn't.
I myself will be the editor (You can see some of my work here, here and even here), but I can perform for various voices given the case there are some missing, like for Patrick or Squidward or even Krabs.
Since this is a non-profit fandub don't stress yourself too much if you don't feel like it's worth the time. Having fun while at it is what matters.
That being said, if you submit an audition you'll have to record yourself repeating each line 3 times, to ensure the quality of your voice and avoid trouble on not getting selected bc "it was a bad recording".
Also, a very bad mic won't do; I can fix some minor sound issues but I can't do miracles. If you'r mic sounds like you're next to a Boeing 747 turbine or like if you were recording inside the empty church of the Sacred Family then don't waste your time.
Finally, the main way of communication will be Discord. If you're really interested in this but don't have a discord account, creating one is pretty easy. And even then, it's a pretty good software for general chatting and gaming, so I recommend to try it out anyway.

By far the character with more voice lines. His voice is deep, uses a lot of air and rightfully belongs to a goofy character. The third audition line is a must, since this goofy character becomes an eldrich horror very quickly. He also screams a lot so keep that in mind.
"No, this is Patrick." (Try all his iterations, even the last one where he yells)
(General meme voice samples like "It's mayonnaise an instrument?" or "Maybe it's the way you're dressed.")
"Do you know how sea stars feed, Spongebob?" (Try this line in a way that would make Patrick look like he had a life-changing, traumatizing experience)
The second most talkative character so far. Sandy's voice is cheery and high-pitched with a medium-to-heavy Texan accent. In the comic she's like Sakura from Naruto: She survives throught it all but she's pretty useless to the story other than plot motion.
"Don't you DARE take the name of Texas in vain!"
"They're hitting your central nervious system! You're not in control of your actions."
"Mr. Krabs? What... Happened to you?" (Very concerned, very worried about Mr. Krabs' wellbeing)
Good 'ol Mr. Krabs is feeling it now. He has a raspy, old voice with a heavy pirate accent and use of words. He'll scream a lot so be wary of your vocal cords.
"Yes, hello! I was wondering if you could play that song again."
"Do you smell it? That smell... A kinda smelly smell. A smelly smell that smells... Smelly... Anchovies... ANCHOVIES!" (You gotta yell at that last one)
"Wait... Please... This is insane! This is evil!" (Make him sound full of fear and desperation)
As a later addition to the comic, Squidward has a kinda low pitched voice, nasal and compressed, but he can reach very high tones (E.g. when screaming). Consider that he (and by proxy you) WILL scream in the comic.
"What are those neanderthals up to? Don't they know I'm busy spoiling myself? *door slams open* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" (He screams 3 times but with one each repetition will be enough)
"Here. Please hit me as hard as you can. Don't hold back."
"What's the point? He's right about me. I'm a talentless hack. Just a loser... Pretending to be an artists..." (Picture him so depressed that he's unable to move or respond in a life-or-death situation)
Plankton shows up very late in the comic, but it looks like he might have a greater role than what it seems at first glance. His voice is kinda low pitched and very compressed. Imagine perfect-form Cell from Dragon Ball Z (There's even a joke video about it), or a sort of miniature Thurl Ravenscroft on "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch".
"You may win this time. Sheehah-Kazeek!"
"What? It's just an ordinary krabby- OH MY GOODNESS!"
"I've done some bad things - diabolical even... But this? This is beyond me." (Imagine him trying to redeem himself, regretful of his prior misdeeds)
For being the main character of the original show, in the comic SpongeBob has only 3 voicelines so far. Although unlikely, it's still possible he'll get more though, so don't be discouraged.
His voice is compressed and high pitched, so be careful when screaming as him (Which MIGHT happen). Look up for videos of the voice actor (Tom Kenny) to get some guideance on it.

"... Patrick?" (Give him confusion, concern or even fear. Extra points if you make sounds that would make him look horrified of something that's after him)
