Stria and the Star Spirits is a sci-fi/fantasy independent webseries that contains 2D animated and live action segments. The series tells the story of Stria, a girl with the power to control magical creatures called Star Spirits, and Kalen, her defender in a time of crisis in their kingdom, as they journey to escape their war-ridden planet to travel to an unfamiliar world… Earth.
Settings:
The far away planet of Astriora, home of Stria and Kalen.
Earth, present day.
Due to our current fundings, this is an unpaid project for the time being.

KALEN: 16-22, genderqueer (he/they) character. The personal defender of Princess Stria, working for the castle. He is brave and quite smart, learns things easily, however he is also very drawn back and reserved. The actor will be portraying Kalen both when animated and live action.
Experience with voice acting is a plus but is not required.

M'lady, I don't mean to interpolate upon your lovely speech about Astriorian dialect, but we are in a bit of a crisis.

TERRANCE: 18-45, a middle-aged Earth male. Bonnie’s husband. Stereotypical redneck. Believer of the supernatural and the unexplained. Must have good comedic timing. This character will appear in live-action segments only.

Are you aware of the power we have let slip through our fingers? Even the girl is not yet aware of her full potential. Now, I want the princess found and this kingdom destroyed.
We are in search of musicians and composers to help create a soundtrack for our webseries. We are looking for a somewhat "magical" sound for this as the series has a sci-fi/fantasy theme to it. For reference of what we are looking for, it may help to research different kinds of magical/fairy types of music on YouTube.

They're called Star Spirits. They're how you can turn on and off the lights without touching them. And, with practice, you can learn to control your powers, the Spirits will guide you.
You must be wary of your emotions though, Princess. The Spirits can sense your strong emotions and will come to you, but if the calling is too strong... (trail off)
