This role is for a minor character starring in the first pilot episode. He is a gruff dock worker who is annoyed at having his work interrupted by the main character. He answers in a mix of sarcastic and harsh tones.
(Annoyed/Gruff) Huh? What do you want? Can’t you see I’m busy here! I’ve got a deadline to meet.
(Sarcastically) Oh yeah? Oh boy, Wow that’s just great. Now tell me can you use that big expensive education and read the 20 meter tall letters brightly painted on the side of the ship behind me?
The character of Kristen serves as a receptionist and assistant on board the ship Aleria. In her scene she is initially bored and uninterested when another character approaches her while she works, but after taking notice she becomes flirty and feisty in conversation.
(Bored/Annoyed) Of course you are, it’s that time of year again where we get a bunch of new recruits. Just give me a minute to finish up with this and I’ll get right with you Mr. Hardy.

Stella is a shy and intelligent young woman. From a young age she showed a brilliant and curious nature. After University, Stella felt the urge to expand her view and knowledge even more by seeking a career on a research vessel. As it happens, Stella was employed on the prestigious vessel, the Aleria, and is ready to start the next leg of her journey.
(Slightly Shy) Oh, hey yourself. My name is Stella by the way.
Yes I am actually! It’s my first time being on a real ship like this. You know, beyond simulated training and the second rate shuttles we had back at school.
Anyways, I’d love to stay and chat but I’m actually just about to head inside to meet up with my new supervisor. I get to check out my new room too, y’know, making it homey since I’m gonna be on this bucket for the next year.
This role is for the computer voice on board the Aleria. It will make numerous announcements over the speakers throughout the ship for important news.
