Star Wars: The Great Clone War

Star Wars: The Great Clone War

Project Overview

Geonosis... Ord Mantell... Furesia... Yavin 4... sandy, sightly, scarred, and sacred, all are now battlefields. The 181st is thrown into tough position after tough position. Commander Bregan, his two captain-ranked advisers: Glory and Victory, their Jedi General Boab Rugger as well as the elite "Swamp Squad" of battle-hardened troopers must persevere throughout a multitude of grueling missions, each with a lack of support or reinforcement.  This is a series of short (I expect 1-3.5 minute) animations detailing a regiment of clones from Geonosis onward throughout the Clone War.

Turnaround times once animation starts must be quick, but for the first episode, where dialog is minimal, it can be more lax. (Just try to get things in within 1.5 weeks of getting the script) -- Do note this is a storyboard-first project, so the scripts may be vague when describing actions.

(This is a LEGO stop motion / brickfilm.)

This is a the voice for normal clone troopers. They're the bulk of the gritty, brutal, and skilled warriors of the Grand Army of the Republic. (Helmet Filter will be done by me)

Only voice requirements is that it must be an impression of Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett/Movie Clones) or the Battlefront II (2005) clones.

There are separate characters played by this VA. In script, all of them will be colored the same as to signify which)

  • I doubt it, sir. Enemy positions are always in flux these days.

  • Damn Stripes. Have they no respect?!

  • We have got incoming! Get the guns. Get the guns!

Boab Rugger (Jedi General)

Role assigned to: Nerdy Nom Nom

General Rugger, though he usually isn't the focus, brings the charisma, ingenuity, and humanity to the regiment. He was first to inspire individuality in the clones, designed many of their armor customizations, and even gave nearly all of the central clones their names! He's a capable yet light-hearted Jedi that inspires pride in the 181st Elite Regiment's ranks.

Voice Tips: He's aging, but charismatic. (think Ezekiel from The Walking Dead) He always has a smile or smirk on his face and never lets up in a fight. However, when the going gets tough, his voice takes a noticeable dip into deep focus, allowing for none of his usual personality to bleed through.

(The name is a nod to the fan name for the unnamed Jedi figure from the original Gunship set "Jedi Bob")

  • C'mon! We've got a battle to win!

  • Glory, Victory, meet "Swamp Squad." I believe you met Red and Rookie already, but the... replacements here are Sentry and Sightline-Black. He goes by either, *chuckle* -but as long as it's not a CT number, it's fine by me.

  • (serious) Get back troopers; you clear out the droids! I can handle this myself.

This is a the voice for newer clone troopers or "Shinies". They're the bulk of the gritty, brutal, and skilled warriors of the Grand Army of the Republic. (Helmet Filter will be done by me)

Only voice requirements is that it must be an impression of the 2003 Clone Wars Clones, Fixer,  or Scorch (Republic Commando)

There are separate characters played by this VA. In script, all of them will be colored the same as to signify which)

  • I could use some help, Sentry!

  • There's some up ahead. Make sure you have a backup plan in case it goes sour.

  • I'm not a replacement!

This is a the voice for older clone troopers created 10 years before AOTC. They're the bulk of the gritty, brutal, and skilled warriors of the Grand Army of the Republic. (Helmet Filter will be done by me)

Only voice requirements is that it must be an impression of Sev (Republic Commando) or Battlefront II (2005) clones

[If you're going to try out for regular clones with a BF2 impression, try out for this too!]**

  • The Stripes don't need to know anything about it.

  • Friendly fire! Friendly Fire!

  • No one survived, sir -- Damn scrapheaps got 'em all.

Hot headed and vulgar yet tactical and skilled, Anakin Skywalker is the chosen one of the force. He is the Jedi General of the 501st, but that's not why he appears here. Student to Obi Wan, this Jedi crosses paths with the group because of his shared pursuit of the vile Asajj Ventress later on in the series.

Voice Tips: Try to sound like either Clone Wars Actor if you can, but this is rather open ended.

  • Trooper? Trooper!

  • Are you alright? What happened!?

  • You'll pay for that!

She is the Sith Acolyte/Assassin that speeds from shadow to shadow. She is a Dathomirian witch that only answers to Lord Tyranus. She is vile. She is ferocious. Most of all, she is deadly.

Voice Tips: She has a raspy, deep voice, full of rage. She often uses cocky intimidation tactics as well..
(Age is flexible to MA. I have no idea how old she is.)

  • The toying is over. You must die, jedi.

  • Feeble animals! Get out of my way! -- Can't you see I'm fighting your master!

  • Your death will be my accession to the sith!
