Star Wars Convergence - Audio Drama OPEN AUDITIONS Main Roles
Project Overview
Star Wars: Convergence is an fanmade, serial audio drama. The show is distributed for free on a bimonthly basis during each season.
Auditions will be open for a number of roles from June 2 through June 14. All roles are considered primary characters and will be heavily featured through at least the first season of Convergence. Auditions are open to everyone – no prior voice acting experience needed! We are excited to hear a variety of voices as we search for the perfect people to play our lovable characters.
In addition, we are looking to fill several other recurring roles and some minor roles. To fill these, we will look at the auditions for our main characters and see if there are any possible fits for other parts. In other words, if you audition for one of our main characters, we might ask if you are interested in playing a different role that is not listed in the audition script. So, even if you are not interested in one of the characters listed below, try auditioning for one anyway and we might find a good fit for you!
Because we anticipate a large number of applicants, the first phase of the audition process will have you simply record lines by yourself and send those to us. After reviewing your audition, we will contact you if we are interested in doing a call back session. If so, we would conduct a call with you via Skype to discuss the project and have you read additional lines in a live environment. You would receive sides that you could rehearse prior to the live audition.
You are welcome to submit your auditions for each character here. However, you are more likely to be considered if you complete the entire audition process, which includes more lines and providing us with some more information about your availability. Should be very close to Christopher Lee's performance from Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, or to Corey Burton from The Clone Wars.
As you can see, my friend, the Separatists do not need strength in numbers to win this war. Patience will lead to victory.
