Star Trek, 2009

Project Overview

The Star Trek 2009 project will not start immediately.

It could start next week, a month from now, or even a year(which probably won't happen). You do have time to audition. Keep in mind that I do cast people even when the project hasn't begun.

👽👽👽

I have only listed the main characters. There are some side characters and extras that did not make it onto the list. If you do not get cast for a main character you will probably get a side character or an extra.

I will contact you if you are casted.

👽👽👽This will be a comic dub on the Star Trek comic book series that follows the 2009 movie.  Most issues take place after  Kirk becomes the captain of the USS Enterprise. They do carry over after the last movie. 👽👽👽

The clip is from the 2009 movie. It is of Kirk and Spock.

Pegg's portrayal in the 2009 Star Trek film has Scotty stuck working at an isolated outpost as punishment for beaming Admiral Jonathan Archer's prized beagle from one planet to the next — and having no idea where it ended up. With assistance from Spock Prime and James Kirk, he joins the Enterprise crew and becomes the ship's chief engineer.

The scottish accent is needed for this character. Use the original series and new movies of the character as an example.

  • That's what I'm talking about! How do you think I wound up here? Had a little debate with my instructor on relativistic physics and how it pertains to subspace travel. He seemed to think that the range of transporting something like a... like a grapefruit was limited to about 100 miles. I told him that I could not only beam a grapefruit from one planet to the adjacent planet in the same system - which is easy, by the way - I could do it with a life form. So, I tested it out on Admiral Archer's prized beagle.

In the 2009 Star Trek film, which takes place in an "alternate, parallel" reality, McCoy and Kirk become frie nds at Starfleet Academy, which McCoy joins after a divorce that he says "left [him] nothing but [his] bones." This line, improvised by Urban, explains how McCoy came to be known as Bones. McCoy later helps get Kirk posted aboard the USS Enterprise.

View the new movie or old show to get a better grasp for the character.

  • Don't pander to me, kid. One tiny crack in the hull and our blood boils in thirteen seconds. Solar flare might crop up, cook us in our seats. And wait'll you're sitting pretty with a case of Andorian shingles, see if you're still so relaxed when your eyeballs are bleeding. Space is disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence.

  • My God, man, you could at least ACT like it was a hard decision.

Hikaru Sulu is born on June 24, 2230 in San Francisco, and is of Japanese heritage. He was shown as the USS Enterprise's staff physicist in the pilot episode, "Where No Man Has Gone Before" (1966), but served as third officer and senior helmsman throughout the rest of the series, during which he held the rank of lieutenant.

  • Attention: John Harrison. This is Captain Hikaru Sulu of the USS Enterprise. A shuttle of highly trained officers is on its way to your location. If you do not surrender to them immediately, I will unleash the entire payload of advanced long-range torpedoes currently locked on to your location. You have two minutes to confirm your compliance. Refusal to do so will result in your obliteration. And If you test me, you will fail.

  • He has lungworms, sir. He couldn't report to his post. I'm Hikaru Sulu.

Nyota Uhura was the communications officer on the Enterprise from 2258 to at least 2260.

If you haven't seen the new Star Trek movies I recommend viewing them to get a better grasp of the character Uhura.

  • You better be! I'll be monitoring your frequency.

  • I'm impressed. For a moment there, I thought you were just a dumb hick who only has sex with farm animals.

  • And did I not, on multiple occasions, demonstrate an exceptional aural sensitivity, and I quote, "an unparalleled ability to identify sonic anomalies in subspace transmissions tests?

The character begins as "a reckless, bar-fighting rebel" who eventually matures. According to Pine, the character is "a 25-year-old [who acts like a] 15-year-old" and who is "angry at the world". Kirk and Spock clash at Starfleet Academy, but, over the course of the film, Kirk focuses his "passion and obstinance and the spectrum of emotions" and becomes captain of the Enterprise. The alternate timeline continues in the 2013 sequel,Star Trek Into Darkness, in which Pine reprises his role.

I do recommend viewing the new Star Trek movies to get a grasp on this version of Kirk.

  • Your ship is compromised, too close to the singularity to survive without assistance, which we are willing to provide.

  • What is it like not to feel anger... or heartbreak... or the need to stop at nothing to avenge the death of the woman who gave birth to you?

Pavel Andreievich Chekov was a child prodigy and a Starfleet ensign for the Federation, assigned as a navigator to the USS Enterprise in 2258, at the age of 17. Originating from Russia, he spoke with a heavy Eastern European accent, which caused a problem when he had to voice input his authorization code "9-5-Victor-Victor-2".

Yes he does have to have the accent. If you don't know how it sounds like I do recommend viewing the new movies or original series.

  • (Captain)Keptin Kirk wouldn't order an execution even if he were going mad. That cannot be the (captain)keptin.

  • Ensign Authorization code: nine-five-wictor-wictor-two

  • Aye, Keptin.

S'chn T'gai Spock was a half-Vulcan/half-Human Starfleet officer who served the Federation in the 23rd century.

If you don't know who Spock is I do recommend viewing the new movies, original Star Trek series, and Star Trek: Continues.

  • As acting captain of this vessel, I order you to answer the question.

  • Under penalty of court martial, I order you to explain to me how you were able to beam aboard this ship while moving at warp.

  • The only emotion I wish to convey is gratitude. Thank you, Ministers, for your consideration. Live long and prosper.
