Splatoon: The Audio Drama (N.I.P Name In Progress)
Project Overview
This is a audio drama that is based on the 2015 version of Splatoon. This audio drama is about an alternate timeline in which Inklings and Octolings live together in peace. However in the background, questionable things are happening and this world may seize to exist. There are multiple chapters, I'm planning there to be at least 10 chapters. The chapters will be either 5-15 minutes. I hope to complete this by November/December. I'm not sure when exactly when but it'll be between there. I don't expect you to submit them in a day but the latest you can turn in lines is 2 weeks. I hope to get the episodes out ASAP. There are going to be a lot of characters however there will also be side characters so if you wanna continue work with this project, then I'd suggest you audition for a main character. Even though I'm giving you a good amount of time it's advised you finish in a week so it gives me a week to edit. If you don't get your lines in by 2 weeks, you're kicked out of the project no questions asked. Unless you're sick or out of town (which by the way you should let me know before doing so I can delay the chapter) I'll let it slide but please don't make excuses.

Finn is the protagonist of this audio drama. Finn is an snarky inkling on the outside but on the inside he actually a good person at heart who cares about his friends. He loves making and looking at memes. He often references popular memes and whenever he tells a joke it's always bad. He acts all tough but he's really weak when it comes to his friends . Finn lived in an alleyway where he was born into a gang of inklings. All of his "family" was killed by the cops and he as a result turned into an snarky asshole who didn't reach out to anyone until he meet his best friends, Ika and Olivia. For his voice, his voice is just like a normal teenage boy who sounds really snarky.
Hey listen, I'm not gonna lie that shirt looks ugly on you. Seriously, Ika you need a better fashion sense.
(In a mad voice that progressively gets angrier) Hey! What do you think you're doing?! Give me back my friends or else guess who's head is on the platter!
(In a slightly depressed tone) It's been a long time since...Ugh...I've had..any friends...ya know?
Ika is Finn's very first friend(If you're wondering how to say it, it's like Ike from Fire Emblem but with an A at the end). She lived in a neighboring city nearby Inkopolis. Her mother and her father were fashion designers and she was sent to Inkopolis to achieve her dream. Even though she is invested in fashion, she also plays quite a lot of video games. She is quite the tomboy even though she likes fashion. She is a sweetheart who only hopes to help Finn gather more friends and she never take Finn's insults seriously. If you want a good voice to base her on, Ann Takamaki from Persona 5 is a good bet.

Olivia is Finn's second friend. However, even though Inklings and Octolings are at peace, it doesn't mean that they haven't been treating Octolings as friends. For unknown reasons, Inklings don't trust Olivia. Olivia is rumored to have an older brother but whenever someone asks her, she denies his existence. Though there are mysteries surrounding Olivia, she is still a good person. She enjoys being around her friends, and especially FInn. A lot of girls ask her for beauty advice because she looks absolutely beautiful. She hopes for one day that no one will judge her. For Olivia's voice, I'd recommend Lillie from Pokemon Sun and Moon (or just basically a shy girl).

Callie is very animated and excitable, and is usually seen with a grin on her face. She is rather fond of puns, and uses them from time to time; a habit that tends to annoy her cousin, Marie a little. She is often quite optimistic and caring. Unlike Marie's sarcastic comments, Callie seems to always have something happy and innocent to say.Callie was raised in Calamari County. At a young age, she became interested in singing and entered Inkopolis' first annual Youth Folk-Singing Contest with her cousin, Marie. Their stunning performance earned them a standing ovation from the audience, as well as a first place trophy and certificate. This success made them instant pop icons. I'd recommend you do a voice that a lot of people give Callie. If you wonder where to find a voice as such, I'd recommend you find comic dubs with Callie and Marie.

Prior to the ultimate end of the Great Turf War, Cap'n Cuttlefish served as leader of a division called the Squidbeak Splatoon alongside Ammoses Shellendorf, Judd, and two unidentified Inkling soldiers. It is unknown what he did between the end of the war and the beginning of Splatoon, but he seems to have changed little. Cap'n Cuttlefish is a decorated hero who fought in the Great Turf Wars of legend between the Inklings and Octarians. He now keeps solemn vigil over Octo Valley, watching for any fishy behavior. Though his clothes may be tattered, his heart is pure and nothing escapes his razor-sharp gaze. He is often distracted by them, giving DJ Octavio the chance to escape from his snow globe prison. Voice-wise, just do an old man voice.

Zander is Olivia's brother. Zander works with the main villain of the audio drama. Zander joined the dark side to find the truth about his parent's deaths. Zander would never want to take the world over but rather he was basically manipulated into it. Zander had to take his very young sister to another family in order to ensure her safety. For Zander's voice, I would recomend something like Gladion from Pokemon Sun and Moon or in other words a dramatic person who is depressed.

Mimi is a hiring octoling assassin to kill Inklings. When Mimi was young, her parents were killed by an inkling and she basically wants to kill every inkling in order to avenge her parents. Mimi, while being raised by alcoholics learned that looking good on the job is the best. Mimi was raised to be stone cold and she doesn't care about anything other then the latest fashion item. She hates everyone who works for the villain. She also likes the taste of blood. I think Mimi should sound like a very annoying girl.

Argo is the weapon builder of the group. Argo was raised by mechanics but his dream was to be like Sheldon. Argo's weapon is a combo of a roller and a charger. Argo was hired by the "boss" because he saw the potential of weapons that could be made. Argo loves working with the "boss" and absolutely HATES Mimi's guts. Argo's voice should be some egotistical British ass.

Colon is the villain of this story. Colon was a very loving child and never would want to hurt a fly until Colon was forced to murder one of his best friends in order to protect his family. The ones who forced this to happen were Inklings. He was sent to jail for it and from there he wants to kill every Inkling. After years of planning, he formed the Octobeak Platoon with 3 very special Octolings filled with the talent to kill (except Xander). The reason he named it the Octobeak Platoon because he looked up to Cap'n Cuttlefish but ever since he was put in jail, he absolutely hates Cuttlefish and he hopes to kill him in order to give all Inklings no hope. For Colon's voice, I'd recommend a deep thug voice.
