Sonic Skits
Project Overview
Hey there!
Want to be part of a Sonic skits project full of comedy and action? 87mysteryartist is looking for talented voice actors to bring Sonic characters to life! If you’ve ever seen Gold’n’s videos, that’s the vibe we’re aiming for. So definitely check him out if you need inspiration or just want a better idea of what this project’s going to feel like.
Now, if you're interested in auditioning, here's some stuff you should know:
Preferences for Auditions:
Please make sure you have good audio quality when recording your audition clips!
About the Roles:
Some characters won’t show up in every skit. Please be flexible with that! For example, Surge might not appear in a lot of them.
Professionalism in the Server:
We’re chill here. We're not super strict or formal; most of the time we'll just be hanging out, joking around, and working together. We want it to feel like a team or even a group of friends working on something cool, not some stiff "do this, do that" vibe. So yeah, just be cool with the casual atmosphere!
Respect Role Assignments & Deadlines:
Timely submissions are important unless you’ve got an emergency (totally understandable).
And hey, if you don’t land a role at first, don’t sweat it; there’ll be more chances later down the line!
Heads-up: There might be more rules and stuff added in the future as we grow.
Inactivity & Communication Policy:
You don't need to be super active in the server 24/7 (though it’s definitely encouraged; we’d love for everyone to get to know each other!).
That said, I’ll be posting announcements now and then. If you’re not reacting to messages or giving any kind of response for a while, your role might end up getting recast.
If you’re going to be busy or need more time, that’s totally fine; just let me or Cam know. We’re super understanding as long as you communicate!
Discord is Required:
We'll mainly be using Discord to reach you about your lines and project updates.
Please include your Discord tag in your audition description or comments!
If you don’t have Discord, you’ll need to make an account.
Feedback & Time Zones:
We’re open to feedback and ideas! If you’ve got suggestions or even want to help write, just let me know, and we’ll see if we can work something out.
Also, please tell us your time zone! It'll make scheduling meetings, recording sessions, and goofy videos way easier.

Update!
Hey guys, it's time for an update. First of all, I'll be closing the Archie Sonic and Classic Sonic roles, as enough great auditions have already been submitted, and I think it's for the best overall. Secondly, the deadline is this weekend, so I’m starting to review the auditions and begin selecting voice actors for the characters. Whether you’re picked or not doesn’t mean anyone is better or worse; it’s simply based on personal preference. Don’t let it get to you; you’re all incredibly talented and have amazing things ahead. Keep going strong!

He’s the fastest, the strongest, and the main hero of the Freedom Fighters, a group he inspired with his never-give-up attitude and still keeps motivated to this day. A snarky, cocky, slightly “dickhead” voice would fit him perfectly.

Sonic gets called in by the President for his biggest mission yet, saving Planet Freedom from total destruction. Along the way, he goes head-to-head with the fearsome Metal Robotnik, only to be tricked into creating his toughest rival ever: Hyper Metal Sonic. From there, it’s a race against time to stop Robotnik’s plan, save the President’s daughter, Sara, and keep the Land of the Sky from being wiped out. A younger voice for Sonic with extra snark would fit perfectly here.

Under that playful exterior, she’s sharp, strategic, and always thinking two steps ahead. Still, she’s loyal to her friends and has even helped Sonic and the crew save the world a few times. A slightly sassy, deeper voice would fit her best.

Kit is an anthropomorphic fennec fox who was turned into a cyborg by Dr. Starline, wiping out all his memories of the past. He was created to back up Surge the Tenrec and take the place of Miles “Tails” Prower. But once he learns the truth about where he came from, he sticks by Surge to get revenge on the people who stole their old lives. A semi-high voice with a quiet, shy tone would suit him best
