Shakespeare On SouthWaves (A Celebration)
Project Overview
We're running a series of programs showcasing the work of Shakespeare, showcasing readings from his many works. The show will be a celebration of the work of the world's most famous playwright.
We're looking for actors from a wide range of backgrounds, to read out a Shakespeare speech of their choice. These can be read out in a chosen style of the actors choosing, with a brief introduction. If two actors choose the same speech, then they will be combined to create an audio experience.
All actors are required to record their material using a microphone, a tablet or a phone. This position is unpaid, but you will be promoted via the website (written interview and press photos) and social media. The deadline for the series is the end of August.
