This is the role of fic reader! I would prefer a girl, but in some cases I might be cool with a boy! Sorry that these are a little long! You only need to pick one to audition with, but you could do two or even all three!
“Where did you even find all this stuff?” Duchess, for one, didn’t own a single tea kettle. She enjoyed a cup of tea as much as the next bird, but she never went out of her way for it.
“Well, you know…” Cupid fiddled with one of the kettles. Duchess smirked.
“You got it all from Maddie, didn’t you?” she asked, and Cupid sheepishly nodded.
The two stood for a moment, taking in the atmosphere of spring. Courtly released Apple’s hand to bend down and grab a soft, pink flower that was growing along the side of the path. Twirling it nimbly in her fingers, she presented it to Apple as a gift, like a jester always did for their queen. But Apple took the flower and tucked it behind Courtly’s ear instead, and Courtly felt her heart fill to bursting.
Now, a purple hue tinted Kitty’s cheeks as well. “You know what they always say: everyone in Wonderland is hiding something. And the kitten that falls close to the tree is the perfect cat to be.” At this, Bunny smiled, understanding the Riddlish perfectly. Kitty, however, scowled—but not at the girl next to her. “And stop revealing my secrets. It’s not polite.”
Alright, I’m sorry. I just thought it was a sweet thing to mention. You were such a cute little lovesick kitten.
“Well, you interrupted my question. I wanted to know why this True Hearts Day is bittersweet.” Now ignoring the narrator again, Kitty switched her attention back to Bunny.
