Project Overview

          Hello everyone! While I have had a wonderful time creating some amazing fan projects with some of you(Uncharted: The Hidden Kingdom got approved by Nolan North & Richard McGonagle!), I am trying to make the switch from creating fanmade audio dramas to creating original content. My goal is to try to get into the crowdfunding game and then not only be able to provide industry rates to everyone involved in future projects but also to be able to create many more projects than I could otherwise. This original story, entitled Savage Waking: Obliteration, was written by Jermey Ashley Pair and myself. It is a zombie outbreak story that will be the first piece of totally original content that I've produced. It will be between 30 and 40 minutes long and, hopefully, offer something new to the zombie genre! It will also allow me to put something new and exciting under my brand (Invictum Digital) that will hopefully establish legitimacy for future crowdfunding campaigns, which will be good for both myself and all the voice actors and crew members it would enable me to hire!

          The story follows several citizens from the small town of Monroville as they deal with and fight for survival during an unexpected uprising of zombies. Will they be able to decipher what's going on and make it out alive, or will the local library become their tomb?

          Once this project is completed I will make it available for free listening on a brand new YouTube channel. I will also make it available for free listening on a number of podcasting platforms. In addition, I will be creating a website that will feature the drama and each person who is involved in it. If you've followed my past projects, you've seen the basic idea of what I do.

          One of the goals of this project is to give participating voice actors a great addition to their demo reels as well as some publicity for their work. I would like to post a picture, name, and social media/contact links for each member of the cast and crew on the website once the project is released. I've got many roles available for the drama and I'm eager to get started, so please look through the roles and audition for any and all you like! I look forward to working with you!

Requirements:

     *Access to Discord as we'd like to do a readthrough together with all the actors(If possible) before we begin recording.

     *The ability to produce 24 bit  48 KHz WAV audio files.

     *Clean audio files - No background noises or hums(Even for your auditions please).

     *The ability to record your lines within 3 weeks after our readthrough.

     *Each voice actor will need to sign a standard talent release form for the drama.

  • Status Update On Savage Waking: Obliteration

    Hello everyone! Just wanted to give a status update on our zombie audio drama! A lot has happened this year! First off, if you haven't listened yet, it's free to listen to on any podcast app by searching "Invictum Digital Presents" or by searching "Savage Waking: Obliteration" in the episode search.     We've been in a lot of Web festivals this year and have been fortunate enough to do quite well! We are currently sitting at #4 in the Audio Fiction World Cup! We won Best Thriller and Best Sound Design at the LA Webfest, reached Silver Selection at the NATF HEAR Now Podcast Palooza, and have had many nominations and selections in various other festivals.

    We are about to release the pilot episode of another drama we've been working on called "The Invicta Collective!" It's a high-adventure serialized drama dealing with the Epic of Gilgamesh! Kind of an Indiana Jones meets the Strange Brigade style! The pilot will be released on Nov 12th and then we are going to try to crowdfund the rest of the first season of the series.   • Zombie Auditions

    Good morning everyone! We'll be finishing up casting today and I wanted to update everyone who auditioned to be a zombie. I can only officially cast one person using the CCC site. My goal however is to use elements from everyone who auditioned as a zombie, in the production. So I am going to mark the zombie part as cast to an outside actor, but in reality, I will message everyone who auditioned with the details to send in your headshot for the horde collage and your contact info for the website. Sheriff Buckley is the good-hearted, small-town Sheriff of the town of Monroville. He is around 35-40 years old, has a commanding presence, and is logical in everything he does. His girlfriend Janine works at the local library. They have been dating for several years, but he is hesitant to "pop the question."  Classic leading role type of character. Looking for a bit of a country vibe, but not total "hickville."

  • In a very urgent manner:

    "I’ll explain it all later, just grab your things! Janine, hurry, I need you in the cruiser with Fish. They can lock up behind us."

  • In a tender, yet hesitant manner:

    "Yeah... Even today at the cemetery he was busting my chops about... us. You know, the usual. "Why you keep that gal waiting around to pop the question", that whole thing.

    And I know he liked you... I mean, what’s not to like. Janine, if we get out of this... I mean, when, we get out of this... maybe we oughta..."

    "That’s it, get on the ground, now!... Stop Charley, don’t come any closer. Put your hands in the air and get on the ground!... Stop right there or I’ll shoot, Charley!... (Pained with a tinge of regret) Darn it, Charley!"

Born and raised in the town of Monroville, Janine is the town's sweetheart. Never married and approaching middle-age, she and the Sheriff have a thing, but he's hesitant to commit. She's hoping he gets over it and just pops the question, she'd say yes if he did. She cares about everyone and treats them kindly. She's a smart woman and fun to be around. We'd like a little country in her voice, but not a full-on southern drawl.

  • (Soothing and trying calm Mrs. Florence down)

    "Great job, Mrs. Florence. Let’s settle you back down behind the counter. There we are... Now you sit here while I go get you a little snack."

  • (She screams, urgently checks on Mrs. Florence and then faces the Sheriff with confused angry/urgent questions)

    "Noooo!!!

    Mrs. Florence? Are you okay?

    Okay, can we talk about what the heck is going on? Where all these people came from and what they want?"

    "Whoa there cowboy, where’s the fire? And what do I owe this unexpected surprise? Came to bring me breakfast? Well, you’re too late, I already ate."

Mrs. Florence is a fixture in the town of Monroville. She has been the local librarian for as long as anyone can remember. She is beginning to struggle with dementia, but as long as she takes her pills, she's not too bad. She is very proper, well-spoken, stubborn, and matter of fact and she refuses to leave her job at the library, (even though she's not needed anymore) out of an "old-fashioned" sense of duty. Your classic stern Grandmother type of voice.

    "Janine, what’s the meaning of all this? Never in my--

    I’m not leaving until someone explains exactly what’s going on. Bomb threat or not, I won’t be--"

  • (Confident that she is right/slightly pious)

    "You’re both wrong, it’s plain as day if any of you bothered to attend church services. It’s the end times, doomsday."

  • (Very confused and the line is spoken when she is being jostled about)

    "But... the patrons... are we having another book sale today?"
