We are looking for a creative voice actor to join us on a futuristic themed project within the game Minecraft. We are looking for a voice actor with a humorous, friendly voice that also has a sarcastic underlying tone to it when need be. We have uploaded a test video, showcasing a very rough concept of the first level (with no texturing so yes it looks awful!)
When we think of the ideal character for this game, it should be along the lines of Gladis from Portal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoJ38_erM30 or the Narrator from Stanley Parable https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RjK-92j_fg
We want this voice, whilst not being a visible character, to have its own personality, its own sense of humour etc, so we want to work with the casted actor to customise voice lines to match the voice and allow some level of creative freedom with the lines provided. There will be a lot of voice acting required for this map, as we will be looking for numerous variations on similar events, variations on how those same lines are said, and at launch, this will have approximately 60 levels.
Must be sarcastic, funny and confident. Feel free to change around these lines, make up your own to match the context etc. The sky's the limit. Pay is flexible based on the final amount of lines and is up for negotiation.
