Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned, and congratulations to everyone e was cast! I'm very happy with my decisions, and I hope that everyone will follow the project.
Ruins of Hope- A Danganronpa Story
Project Overview
This is a fan Danganronpa thing. It'll be something that's on YouTube, and will probably just be the voice acting over still pictures of the characters or maybe the cover art. It will be set up as a real Danganronpa game, with the class trials and everything. There probably won't be any free time events until the very end, kind of like School or Island mode. There will only be two survivors in the end, so don't get your hopes up on your character surviving.
I'm hoping on having this last until probably around the end of the year, but it could take longer, or shorter, it really all depends on how many editors we are able to get. It'll be eight chapters and a prologue long, if I've done my math correctly. I will have deadlines for lines for certain segments, but I will have some flexibility when it comes to those.

2nd round of casting
We just had our 2nd round of casting! We now have 8 of 17 voice actors, and I'll probably be casting Andrea soon, if no one else auditions soon. Thanks for all the auditions, they're all great! Oh yeah, and I changed the deadline too, because I didn't feel we could cast all the characters. -

Andrea Asaka, the Ultimate Haggler, She has a cold personality with questioning morals. There's very few people that she cares about, and honestly doesn't seem very surprised about the killing game. Well, it's more like she doesn't care. As the Ultimate Haggler, she's able to get the best prices on things everywhere, and it's not impossible that she does it illegally. Her voice should sound about in the medium to low range for a female. Sounds very serious and ticked off most of the time, mostly monotone.

He's the protagonist for this story. He's the Ultimate Architect. He generally has a pretty kind and laid back personality, but when needed, he gets a glint in his eye, and turns almost aggressive. He has a little sister at home that always took care of him, while he worked as an Architect. His voice should sound basically like a generic protag. Kind of like Hajime's, except maybe a little rougher and deeper.

She leads protests everywhere, and they sometimes get violent. She even lost her arm in one, during a protest to legalize gay marriage. Her top priorities right now are to help gay marriage, and to stop discrimination against the deformed, including giants and dwarfs. She should sound a little bratty, but with a kind caring side too. Almost a bit like Mahiru.

Eriko Kita is the Ultimate Cartographer. This means that he makes maps, exploring the world along the way. Both his personality and voice are pretty similar to Kaito's, gruff but kind at the same time. He originally had a partner in exploring the world. She would explore, while he mapped it. Suddenly, one day, she disappeared and never came back. Since then, Eriko had to do both. He thinks of himself as a ladies man, but kind of failed.
I'm Eriko Kita, and I'm the Ultimate Cartographer! Basically, I make maps. Not only that, but I'm often the one who explores these places in order to map them! Pretty neat, right?

Hibiki Mizushima, the Ultimate Classical Musician. He's a virtuoso when it comes to any music classical, and can play any instruments extremely well. His specialty is the clarinet and bass clarinet, but is extremely good at most others. His personality is cold towards most people, even mean at times. Atsushi is the only one that he can really tolerate for whatever reason. He should have a generally quiet voice, sounding cold and a little monotone. His voice should be high or medium.

He can portray a large range of personalities and emotions, despite his normally childish personality and small stature. He uses both the stage and his childish personality as a way to escape from his parents, who were always fighting when he was younger. His voice should sound childish and high pitched, but can also have a large range of voices.

Kano Sasaki, the Ultimate Accountant. This is the usual "buff" character in each Danganronpa game. She's more of a gentle giant like Gonta rather than someone like Nekomaru. As the Ultimate Accountant, she's good with math and numbers. She's also a little clumsy, but very considerate to others. Her voice is soft and kind, but could probably be voiced by a male or a female.

The reason why he became a clown is because children love him so much, and he doesn't want to let them down. It's because of this that he's able to dress normally, rather than like a clown. His voice should be strong and stable, but not monotone.

Therefore, he's very eager to find out what his talent is. He doesn't mind this killing game, and is willing to kill each and every one of his piers. His voice should sound pretty deep and a little raspy, similar to Komaeda's, just deeper.

She's also an avid lover of cats, and knows more about them than anything else. She means well, but often comes off as rude or ditzy. Her voice could sound medium range or high range for a girl, possibly sounding like Asahina or Angie.
Hmm? Oh yeah, nice to meet you! Just as a warning, I can be a bit ditzy or absentminded at times. It's because of my talent after all. As the Ultimate Trivia Expert, there's a hell of a lot of useless information in my brain. Sometimes it's so full that I can't even remember basic things, like people's names!

She's also a little lazy and tired, not really wanting social interactions. Her voice should be pretty medium for a girl, and sounds a little bratty and rude.

She would be left in the care of the bartender there, who taught her how to make drinks. She also picked up a few tricks from her mom. Her personality is seductive, to say the least, almost carnivorous. Her voice should portray that, sounding smooth and silky.
Drinking may be illegal, but making the drinks isn't. I've never had a sip in my life, yet somehow I'm an Ultimate at it. Well, enough about me... What about you?

Her voice should be kind and pretty average kind of like Tsumugi, but able to shout if needed.

He's absolutely bursting with energy, and often talks fast, even in other languages. In order to voice this character, you need to have a good understanding of how to pronounce things, or be dedicated to listening to pronunciations. His voice could be pretty much whatever, when it comes to male voices, but it should be unique, and possibly able to change to other voices. Have fun!
