Rhonas - Amonkhet's God of Strength

Rhonas - Amonkhet's God of Strength

Project Overview

As Wizards of the Coast continues to release their weekly Magic Story updates, it is our goal on the Voice of All podcast to bring these stories to life through audio.

Amonkhet's snake-headed god of strength has finally shown himself for his first (and sadly final appearance). Are you worthy to portray his Hour of Glory? You can check out this week's story here:

If you're interested in hearing our past works, you can listen to all of them here:

We can also be found on iTunes and Google Play! We are looking to keep up with the release of Wizards' stories as best as possible and will release our version the second following Friday, so expect to be cast this week and have your lines to me within a few days.

Rhonas is the snake-headed God of Strength on the world of Amonkhet. He stands as a protector for the people, though for the past several generations, he has been a shepherd, unwittingly strengthening an army for an interloper who has toyed with his memories. This story features his last moments, as he stands to protect his people, and remembers the truth.

Please do not add any special effects to your voice for this audition.

  • "Whether you are a harbinger of our God-Pharaoh's return or an interloper conspiring against the Hours, you shall proceed no further."

  • "You shall not defy a god of Amonkhet. We stand guard over this city and its people. If you are my Trial, then I will defeat you and prove myself worthy!"

  • "Death to the God-Pharaoh, foul trespasser and destroyer!" [an anguished, final shout]
