Cendre is part of a fictional species stuck in a cave-like world called the Flamber. She's stuck in a role she doesn't care for and deals with going on patrols until she finds a small notebook outside of camp. It speaks of a sinister plot and the paranoid writer of this notebook tells her to run while she still can. After this the people around her start to die, and she has no choice but to find the author. This audiobook will be dubbing the story "Remember The Depths
Cendre needs a sassy and snarky voice with a strong tone. She's aggressive but a suck up when she needs to be. She's protective and only has few friends.
(Annoyed) I'm AWAKE! Jeez, don't throw lizards through my window.
(Suck up) Yes! Of course Vanyu. Right away sir.
(sassy improvised line)
Malakis is basically full memester type of character. He's a doofus. However he is bullied by his older brother often so he has his moments.
(Playful/maniac laughter) I HAVE THE POWER OF GOD AND ANIME ON MY SIDE
(Offended) How dare you do that to the lizzies they are my brethern
(Depressed/Irritated) It's fine. Unual's just a typical bully, I'll get over it. Trust me, it's fine...
Fume is the thoughtful, cautious voice of reason. She thinks before she speaks and it's almost like she doesn't know what impluse is. She does have a very long emotional stage so be prepared.
(Calm) We need to get going, we don't want Unual to throw a fit.
(Annoyed) Cut it out, you're going to make me fall into the lava pits!
(Basically just scream as if you just saw your best friend/lover die right in front of you. The more emotional the better.)
Soujurn is basically the leader of the group. He's authorative and stern. He knows just how to talk to people in a higher position than him and he's loyal to them. Though he does have is conspiracy theories about their culture.
(Authoritative) Come on, we need to be back in an hour. Gather your things.
(Shocked) He's.... what? H-how can he be dead? He was fine when I saw him, he can't be dead...
(Make effort noises as if you were in a fight for your life.)
Emlili is the girl with a big heart. She wants to help everyone she can and she cares about her friends very much. She's loyal to the truth, regardless if that truth happens to go against the pack.
(Playful/Joyful) Hey Cendre! How goes it? Enjoy patrol?
(Confused) Wait.... but that doesn't make any sense. That notebook has to be lying... but.... it does have truth in it...
(Panicked/Horrified) Go! Run! They're coming for us! I can't believe this is happening, it can't be happening!
Sholi is a paranoid mess. He was kicked out of the pack by the Alpha for finding out his plans. He was ripped apart by his own and betrayed by his closest friends. He's the author of the notebook if you're wondering. He has a older and more angry voice.
(Anxious/Paranoid) Where did you come from? Who are you? STAY AWAY FROM ME! Don't get any closer, I'M WARNING YOU.
(Angry) I wasn't betraying my pack, I was trying to save it. Merlot has plans to destroy everything, I was simply trying to stop them. Next thing I know I'm attacked by the elites and left to rott out here. There's no hope for them.
(Improvise angry muttering.)
Merlot is the alpha of the pack, meaning he has a stern and authorative voice. He does what he has to do in order to get what he needs done, no matter how messy it is. He's the antagonist, the evil guy if you will.... or is he?
(Authorative) I heard he was killed. Is this true? It's such a shame for such a great mind to leave us.
(Angry) You are to leave this pack immediately. If I EVER see you're filthy face anywhere close to the camp, you will wish you were never born. Do I make myself clear?
(Malevolent) (Maniac laughter) Oh you just think you know EVERYTHING, don't you? You think you've heard the entire story. The real person you should be baring your teeth at.... is HIM.
The narrator is going to have the absolute MOST amount of lines out of the entire book. If you are the narrator, you're going to have a lot of work to do. But that doesn't mean it won't be fun.
