Project Overview

Hey thanks for checking out my Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu FanDub project!

I'm highly interested in trying to do a fandub of this anime. I've never done one before but I have a lot of dedication and would love to try it out. This will be a serious fandub not some abridged series etc, the script will stick to japanese to english translations, there will be no editing of actual video just audio.

I'll be adding more roles as time goes on. I encourage you to watch the first episode and keep in mind any characters you may want to audition for. If there is a character you'd like to audition as but I don't have the roles uploaded yet let me know and I'll upload them! :)

As of right now there is no deadline so don't worry about that!


STORY

When Subaru Natsuki leaves the convenience store, the last thing he expects is to be wrenched from his everyday life and dropped into a fantasy world. Things aren't looking good for the bewildered teenager, however: not long after his arrival, he is attacked by some thugs; armed with only a bag of groceries and a now useless cell phone, he is quickly beaten to a pulp. Fortunately, a mysterious beauty named Satella, in hot pursuit after the one who stole her insignia, happens upon Subaru and saves him. In order to thank the honest and kindhearted girl, Subaru offers to help in her search, and later that night, he even finds the whereabouts of that which she seeks. But unbeknownst to them, a much darker force stalks the pair from the shadows, and just minutes after locating the insignia, Subaru and Satella are brutally murdered.

However, Subaru immediately reawakens to a familiar scene—confronted by the same group of thugs, meeting Satella all over again—the enigma deepens as history inexplicably repeats itself.

*Please have a decent quality mic, little to no background noise!

*Watch each episode if you're cast so you'll have a clear picture of how it should be. (will provide links below)

*Please be dedicated and loyal to the project, there are currently 25 episodes and I'll need each cast actor to stick to it! If you do not think you can stick with the project please do not waste my time. 

*Provide Skype username if you are cast so we can communicate as a group.

  • Episode 1 casting almost coming to a close!

    Hey everyone thanks for all of your auditions so far, I've had some really great auditions that I'm very excited about listening to in the final project. The deadline Nov 11 is coming up soon, That day I'll push the deadline back more and add more characters etc for Episode 2. So get any and all auditions in before then and I'll decide who will get the roles for Episode 1! There are a couple of characters I could use a few more auditions for so feel free to try them out, you may get the part you never know!

However I highly suggest you watch a scene or two of Rem and Ram so you can understand the way they talk. It is almost monotone and emotionless to an extent, I'd like to keep that same tone in these characters.
