This is an audition to voice act in the Storyboarded Trailer for my conceptual animated series: Razor, The Rock and Roll Werewolf

The show follows Razor, a raucous, hyperactive werewolf and his fellow teenage monsters as they strive to protect their town from the forces of evil... of course, being teenagers, chaos ensues.

The show is inspired by my love of Saturday morning cartoons like Ben 10 and Spectacular Spiderman, as well as my love for all things spooky.

The trailer itself (clocking in at around 4 minutes) is meant to serve as a "sizzle reel" for the show that I can post on Youtube, and show to industry professionals, in order to garner interest in the script.

Hopefully, with this, I can draw the eye of the industry, introduce Razor and Co to the world, and, if I'm really lucky, maybe create a pilot someday in the future!

  • THAT'S ALL FOLKS!

    As of now, the Razor The Rock and Roll Werewolf Storyboarded Casting Call is officially CLOSED. I want to thank everyone who sent in their AMAZING auditions. I truly have so so many great options to choose from.

    Now, you can still TECHNICALLY keep auditioning, however, I offer no guarantee that I'll open late entries unless you're someone I've been talking to OR you have a referral from someone I know.

    In a couple days (giving time for a few holdouts who where sick or away but already messaged me about auditioning ) I'll start combing through my shortlist and begin the selection process. It may be a few weeks before VOs are selected, got a lot of great auditions to look through, so please be patient with me, I'm just one guy, after all.

    Again, I want to thank everyone who lent their talents to this audition, even if you weren't shortlisted, so many of you were amazing in your own ways, even if you weren't a fit for these characters. Keep doing what you're doing and keep rockin' on!

  • Reminder: This listing goes unlisted soon and another will be opened

    Just a reminder that on April 30th, due to reasons I explained on my last update (go read that if you haven't), this listing will become unlisted and thus another version of this casting call will be posted.

    So, when you see a new Razor casting call without any auditions on it go up, don't panic, your auditions are still safe and will be put into account. In fact, you will still be able to audition to this version of the casting call via the link, it just won't be searchable

    IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

    Don't worry, it's nothing bad, but you should be aware of this so you don't freak out when it happens

    On April 30th this project will become "Unlisted" Meaning it will no longer appear on Casting Call Club's search results. This is because I did not have Casting Call Premium when I started this project (which would have allowed it to be listed for an extended period of time) and unfortunately getting premium while the project was already up does not extend the Unlisting Date. However, after asking CCC what I should do about this, they informed me that I can just copy and paste a new version of this project and put that up after April 30th.

    DON'T FRET! If you've already auditioned on this version of the casting call, I still retain all of your auditions, and there's no need to audition again! You are still 100% eligible to be selected as a voice actor. In fact, aside from appearing in search results, everything about this project will stay exactly the same, the direct link to the casting call will still work and everything!

    SO, if you see a new version of Razor the Rock and Roll Werewolf appear around April 30th that you haven't auditioned for, DON'T FREAK OUT, I still have your audition and it is still valid.

    Additionally, because of this confusion, and various other factors, I am considering extending the deadline for auditions HOWEVER, that is not set in stone, and it all depends on how my timeline looks. If I did extend it, It would likely only be by a week or so.

-The best Razor voices tow the line between Jack Black and Average Teenager, go too far in one direction, and he sounds like an adult man, go too far in the other, and he loses his identity.

Ben is the newest addition to Razor and Co. A far cry from the suave, confident vampires you see on TV, Ben is an anxious ball of stress who wouldn’t hurt a fly.

REMEMBER: Ben is more anxious and nervous than he is angry or frustrated. He's WORRIED, not ANGRY

Last, but certainly not least, I need a narrator to voice the opening and a pitch video I plan on releasing alongside the trailer.


Voice: Classic Vincent Price kinda vibe. 


IMPORTANT: I'm not looking for the standard "Trailer Voice" kind of narrator, so don't think "epic voice guy" or "Honest Trailers Voice", think more about the opening narration of The Haunted Mansion in Disneyland, or the Thriller Monologue. 


Don't just do your normal reading voice either.
