Portal Playthrough (w/ Dad)

Project Overview

Hello peoples, this is Glasses Freek and I have a gaming channel on YouTube. A playthrough of Portal is going up on my channel in April featuring my Dad, who had never played that type of game before. Anyway, I need the voice of GLaDOS to introduce the playthrough before every part. This means that you'll have to use a voice modifier and imitate Ellen McLain's performance. You won't have to say many lines, as she says the same thing before every part.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask by emailing me. If you get the part, you'll be credited in every video with your name and a link to wherever you want. This is my first time doing anything like this and I'm really excited! Hope you guys have fun auditioning!

You'll have to use a voice modifier and imitate Ellen McLain's performance. In the audition lines, only read GLaDOS' lines. The other lines are for context.

  • GLaDOS: Glasses Freek, I have a proposition for you. I am in need of test subjects and you are in contact with the perfect candidate.

    Glasses Freek: Who?

GLaDOS: Your father. He has absolutely no experience with first person games and I believe testing him would lead to some... interesting results.

Glasses Freek: My dad being tested at Aperture Science? What could go wrong?

    GLaDOS: I’m glad you asked...

  • Hello and again welcome to this playthrough of Portal. Today, we’ll be observing and analysing test subject 41373, also known as Glasses Freek’s father. He may be senile, but then again, what human isn’t? Like, share, and comment so that I may have as much data as possible. For science. Anyway, let’s start testing.

  • Was that painful to watch? I sincerely hope it was. I have learned that humans become infuriated while watching other humans fail at the most straightforward tasks. Isn’t that interesting? You should redirect your internal rage to do productive things like liking, sharing, and commenting on this video. Thanks for watching and please subscribe.
