About PAID Project.

This is a self-funded, low budget, paid project.

Please be over 18. If not you will need your parent or guardian to sign a release for you. Proof of age is required.

I am producing a machinima project about 4 girls aged between 7 and 11 for my daughter's Youtube page. I am paying on a per-word basis. The pilot will be 5-minutes to introduce the girls. You would have to sign a release giving me 100% ownership of anything you do if you are cast.

The show will be suitable for kids 7 and up and contains no swearing or any sexual content.

I don't care how old you are as long as you can do an authentic kids voice.

Things to think about:

1. Only apply if you are sure you want to do it and have the time. I have encountered many people on here who say they want to be voice actors and then take 2 weeks to reply.

2. This is a paid gig. It will not make you rich, but it will help your reel and make you some money. It's paid for a reason, I want professionals, and I don't mean top pros with hundreds of credits. I can't afford that. I mean actors who treat every gig as important and do the best job they can and get it done on time. That's the only way you'll get a real career, no matter how good you are. I don't care if you have no credits, as long as you can do the job like a pro.

3. This should be number one. AUDIO QUALITY. No iphones or anything with background noise or room echo. I have also noticed people's demos have them hitting the mic or stand. Also, recording the audio too high (look at the waveform, if it's square at the top and bottom it's too loud. Recording the audio too low. BUY A POP SHIELD. There should be no plosives and popping noises. They're $15 on Amazon. Listen to the best animations online and on TV Shows and movies, that's what you need to aim for. You can do it for a few hundred bucks. If you want to do paid work, you need the proper equipment.

4. I want raw audio, don't try and cover it up with music.

5. Say the lines a few different ways and with different inflections, although direction will be given for each character.

6. This requires real kids voices like you would find on a Nickelodeon or Disney Channel show. I don't want over the top cartoon voices. Delivery has to be like you would speak to your friends in everyday life. No fake Anime voices.

7. If this all sounds like too much work and a lot of rules, then this gig is not for you. I work on TV shows for a living and I always pay, and I'm always on time. I need people I work with to be as professional.
