Phantom of the Opera Audio Drama
Project Overview
I've written a fanfiction for Phantom of the Opera and I would like to make that into a recording!
Singing ability is preferred, but not required.

Summary: Elaina LaPointe is a very talented singer and dancer....but because of the stuck-up prima donna, no one knows how talented she really is.
That all changes when the prima donna quits in a jealous rage, and Elaina is offerend the role.
Unfortunately, the infamous Opera Ghost sees all of this and is infuriated that the role went to someone other than the person he meant it for, Christine, the object of his long time affections.
He finds Elaina and makes sure she knows the role is not for her. When Elaina gets too close to finding out who the mysterious stranger is, he kidnaps her and takes her back to his lair to prevent her from telling anyone who is he is.
Terrified for her life, she stays locked away in the room he put her in, not daring to show her face.
Eventually, she leaves the room and talks to him. Over time, she begins to see that he is not as bad as he seemed at first. The two of them continue to bond for months and he even tells her his real name: Erik. Erik realizes how talented Elaina is and begins to notice that she is a beautiful and humble young woman.
When they both realize that they share miserable histories, they soon realize that there may be something more between them.

How comes the repairs?
Word is that there’s going to be a grand re-opening at the start of the New Year in four months. The managers are throwing a huge masquerade party.
Christine's love interest. Cares deeply for her. Desires to keep her away from the Phantom.
Angel of Darkness, cease this torment! (to Christine) Christine, Christine, listen to me. Whatever you may believe, this man, this thing, is not your father! Let her go, for God’s sake, let her go! Christine!
Idiot! I said only when the time comes!
conductor for the Opera Populaire. Has been given Elaina private singing lessons.
There is no understudy, monsieur! The production is new! (with a realization) Although, I believe that Elaina LaPointe can do the role.
(so only Elaina can hear) I know you can do this. We’ve worked on this song many times, and you have a wonderful voice.
new owner of the Populaire. Does not believe in the Phantom.
His salary?!
(about the Vicomte being at the performance; agitated) Yes, in our box!
(surprised) A chorus girl?
Worships Carlotta. Killed by the Phantom. Italian accent
(angrily in a whisper) How dare you steal the limelight from me and my precious diva?
Have you been conspiring with the Phantom all this time?
the prima donna. Extremely stuck-up and rude.
Si, these things do happen. Well, until you stop these things from happening, this thing does not happen!! Ubaldo, andiamo!
(to Christine) Your part is silent, little toad!
dance instructor. Cares for Elaina. Understands her predicament.
(to the managers) He merely welcomes you to his Opera House and commands you to continue to leave Box Five empty for his use and reminds you that his salary is due.
(asking Elaina why she can't perform) Why ever not? You proved today at rehearsal that you have the voice for it.
I will just have to find a replacement and notify Monsieur Reyer and the managers. Though they will not be pleased.
She sat down in front of her mirror and began to powder her very nervous face. She looked down for just a second and when she looked up, she gasped at the sight of a man towering behind her. His gloved hand slipped over her mouth as she tried to scream. He was dressed in nearly all black but had a pure white mask on the right side of his face. He had black hair that was slicked back, and a deep, rich voice.
Elaina’s arms remained latched around Erik’s neck as both of them were silent. She could feel his gloved hands ever so lightly touching her waist and her back. Neither could explain the connection that just happened.
And suddenly, Erik quickly pulled away. What was he doing?? He was not about to betray his beloved Christine! Not after all this work he had done to call her his own. This wasn’t supposed to happen.
current owner of the Opera Populaire. Retiring. Stress of dealing with Carlotta is too much. "Worships" Carlotta.
As you know, for some weeks there have been rumors of my imminent retirement. I can now tell you that these were all true and it is my pleasure to introduce to you the two gentlemen who now own the Opera Populaire: Monsieur Richard Firmin and Monsieur Gilles Andre.
Well, there’s nothing more I can do to assist you. If you need me, I shall be in Frankfurt!

If I remember rightly, Elissa has a rather fine aria in Act Three of Hannibal. I wonder, Signora, if, as a personal favor, you would oblige us with a private rendition?
(angrily) Madame, I had hoped to have made that announcement myself!
Ladies and gentlemen, the performance will continue in ten minutes time, when the role of the Countess will be sung by Miss Christine Daaé!
Chief of the Flies. Known for being a pervert. Attempts to assault Elaina before he is stopped and killed by the Phantom.
(purring) Well, hello, my fine lady! We’ve all been looking for you.
Why don’t you come with me? I’ll take you back.
It’s tough. The Opera Ghost really did a job here.
A masquerade you say? We haven’t had one of those in ages.
attempts to "save" Elaina from the Opera Ghost during the Masquerade.
Come, mademoiselle! You must get away from here before the Opera Ghost comes back!
Mademoiselle, I must insist that you come with me for protection!
A very talented singer in the Opera Populaire. Angers the Phantom when she gets the role of Elissa in Hannibal and later is kidnapped by him. Gradually falls in love with him the longer she stays with him.
(terrified of the Phantom) Why are you doing this to me?
(flustered at having been caught playing his organ) I’m sorry, monsieur! I didn’t mean to play the organ without permission, I—I just… (E:You have an impressive range. You are a soprano, correct? And yet you are hitting notes even some altos don’t dare to reach.) It…It just comes naturally to me, monsieur. I’ll just go back and leave you alone. (E: Mademoiselle…) Please. Call me Elaina. Is there something I can call you? (E: You may call me Erik.) Erik.
(after Erik wonders who could ever love him) Me! (a beat) I love you, Erik. (E: How long?) Since the Masquerade Ball. (E: And yet you still tried to help me win over Christine?) I wanted you to be happy. Even if it meant you weren’t with me.
The object of the Phantom's affection. Timid. Very beautiful and smooth voice.
(terrified) It's him! I know it! It's him!
(before Raoul can kill the Phantom) No Raoul! No. Not like this.
a terrifying figure who is in love with Christine. Kidnaps Elaina for seeing too much. Slowly begins to fall in love with her. Very rich and smooth voice.
(in a deadly whisper) If you’re wise, you will not go out on that stage tonight. That part was meant for Christine. I didn’t work so hard to get Carlotta out just so that you would steal the limelight from her. She deserves the role more than you ever will.
