Persona4 Prime Time
Project Overview
Persona4 Prime Time is a comedic re-dub of the Persona 4 sub-series of games and anime. By combining footage from Persona 4 the animation, Persona 4 the Golden animation and the various games along with original, janky animation P4PT casts the story of Persona 4 in a hilarious new light. We want to tell full stories in a TV show style format, with comedy coming from character and not minimalist, meme antics or fanbase pandering.
Specifically, P4PT explores the character arc of Yu Narukami in greater depth, and the aspects of the game the anime skipped over, such as social links and dungeon crawling. In addition, we are looking to explore original stories that tie into the social links, mysteries within the town of Inaba, and the personal journeys of the Investigation Team members.

In addition to the parts being posted, I also have a plethora of bit players who need voices. If you don’t get cast in a role but I liked your audition, there is a chance I might hit you up for a bit character such as residents of Inaba or students of Yasogami High. I will create additional casting notices for future roles as they are needed for forthcoming episodes (other social links, NPCs, original characters, etc.).
This is a fan project and is strictly not-for-profit. This series is a product of our love of Persona 4, and an opportunity to test the limits of our creative muscles. Microphone quality will be taken into consideration for your audition, but as this is a non-profit project, a lack of quality equipment is not necessarily a deal breaker. If you are cast I will work with you one-on-one over Discord to record your parts in a timely and concise manner.

Margaret is a snide career woman who covets her boss’ job as shepherd of humanity’s enlightenment.
She is a sort of talent agent for individuals with unique potential. She has little empathy for anyone and views humans as numbers to be optimized through her work, micromanaging her guest’s growth. She is interested in results, not people, and thus thinks little of most anyone. None the less, she maintains a motherly tone, even when dealing with those she thinks are beneath her. She loves being in control, and will mockingly suck up to her boss, Igor, to gain footholds on her climb to the top of the celestial corporate ladder.
Your facade is inherently repellent and your looks… well, I don’t know any other orangutans who could pull off two banana republic jackets at once.

Through the magic of photoshop and masking, a "new" student arrives in Inaba. Stephanie is a transfer student from America. Her parents sent her to live with a family friend in Japan so Stephanie can receive medical treatment for her condition that only the head doctor of Inaba’s hospital has been able to provide.
She wants to coast through the year without fuss, but can’t help but feel lonely. She had many friends in America and was something of the queen bee in her school. Being in a new place without her support circle leaves her wanting to appear strong and solitary, but on the inside, she pines for companions.
Look, if you don't like this arrangement, I can respect that, but don't patronize me. I’m only here for the school year; I don't want to impose on anybody. I'm just looking to ride this bullet train out.

Refined, collected, with a vibrant whimsy streak. Childlike in mindset.
Yukiko is the sheltered heiress to the Amagi Inn, a prestigious establishment and prime tourist spot in Inaba. She marches to the beat of her own drum and feels stifled by the responsibility of inheriting ownership of her family’s inn. Yukiko would much prefer to follow her whims, inspired by watching TV programs. In many ways, Yukiko is like a small child: fervently pursuing dreams she just came up with.
Also like a child, Yukiko has little understanding of the recourse of her actions. She takes complete dedication from people as an implicit thanks to her family and her best (only) friend, Chie. She is innocent, completely oblivious to the frightening things she says and does. This comes from Yukiko’s upbringing. As the daughter of Inaba’s “former” premiere yakuza family, she is respected by everyone in the Amagi’s employ. Yukiko is kept unaware of her family’s dark past and current dealings, and because of that, she has a flawed understanding of people. She thinks highly of everyone and believes they think the best of her, which is why she is oblivious to people being off-put by the disturbing or bizarre things she does.
You should stay at my family’s inn. It’s not a front for organized crime anymore.

Lou is a chipper athlete who wants to find the parents he never knew, hoping the discovery will reveal who he really is. He is an optimist to a fault, unable to recognize when his bright demeanor annoys people.
As a child, Lou was adopted into a religious family whose customs were imposed on him. He takes things in stride, but his carefree attitude masks a sadness he comes to understand as the feeling of lacking an identity within his adopted family. When he expressed this sadness to his family, his matriarch grandmother overreacted and crowdfunded the money to buy him a robot buddy, BUD-8 (Daisuke, in Persona4) to keep him positive.
Lord knows I’m jonesing for the rock! Basketball, that is! (chuckles at own joke)
A bonafide American! You know we used to watch, lord forgive me, less than legal streams of NBA games using BUD-8's wifi network. Then our dang TV gave out, how's that for karma?. Now we can't even watch our VHS of Kazaam!

Principle role. Grouchy, spacy. Something along the lines of Grey DeLisle with a bit of anime spice.
Marie is a foul-mouthed scene kid with amnesia. She wants to learn more about herself by exploring abstract and unusual forms of self-expression: exotic local music, role-playing, dancing and sculpting art from her pathos.
She has no reservations about expressing herself and has no filter for her thoughts. She is an individual first and doesn’t care who knows it… or so she says. She needs to prove she exists and attempts to do so by endearing herself to others through her artistic and "lol-so-random" antics. She secretly fears what others think of her. She fears she is unimportant, and thus sets herself apart from everyone else as better, cooler than them.
I’m not afraid to express my art to the world, and if you show anyone I'll stab your Adam's apple.
