Persona 3 Spring of Birth English Casting Call!

Project Overview




Hello everyone! Some of may you have seen a recent post of mine of a casting call for an English dub teaser, but fortunately I have finished scripting the entire movie, so with that done, I figured I should go and make a full on casting call!







I am going to need A LOT of voices for this project, meaning that I'm gonna need plenty of voices for extra characters! So even if you don't get the character you auditioned for, chances are I'll still pick you to voice extras!







With that said however, I will give fair warning that I will be very serious about this project, if you audition and are cast, I expect a sense of duty and responsibility from my voice actors, as lenient and laid back a guy as I am, If push comes to shove, I will have to replace cast members if such circumstances falls upon me. This also falls under the area of Voice Acting in itself as well.







Requirements for audition







1. Crisp, clear sounding quality recordings (No background noises, reverb of any kind, Grainy sounding recordings, etc.)







2. USB/XLR Studio Condenser Microphones







3. Great Voice Acting/Acting Experience and inflection











When the deadline is met and the cast have been chosen, I will discuss with each member my ideas as to how I will make this work as quickly and efficiently as possible, with that said, here are the characters you can audition for!

Shuji Ikutsuki

Ikutsuki is the Chief Director of the High School and both chairman and adviser of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, SEES. His proper demeanor and bad puns lead to him being considered lame by most of the students there. He is also the adviser for the special group formed by the game's heroes. He was trained to enter the Dark Hour, although he lacks a Persona.

  • Come in. Hello. My name is Shuji Ikutsuki. I am Gekkoukan Highs chairman of the board. I believe the only other person your unfamiliar with is Sanada kun, correct?

Moriyama is one of the bullies who picks on Fuuka Yamagishi, but later becomes her friend.

  • You mean Fuuka? ha! Get real! Things like that doesn't have anything to do with hate. She annoys me, is all. thats it. You know, Fuuka, When you push her buttons just a little, she gets this look on her face like it's the end of the world. And from then on I could tell, she was nothing but a do gooder, but deep down, she was just like us.

Akihiko Sanada

A cool and well-respected upperclassman, Akihiko is serious and determined, as well as cracking small jokes on small occasions (such as with Junpei, though this happens not as often), and tends to show his excitement for a big challenge. He also has an aggressive side, which he usually demonstrates when dealing with Shadows. He never gives up and always tries to get stronger in order to protect what is dear to him and feels guilty for not being able to save his sister, Miki, from the fire. He acts like an older brother for the younger SEES members

  • You've seen them, right? The monsters? We call them Shadows.

  • Tch... grr*! So you're just gonna automatically assume shes dead?!

    Emotion: Anger * An angered grunt of sorts, As if exasperating exhales of stress*

Fuuka is a shy and timid, but friendly student, she deeply cares for all her friends and constantly tries to find ways to repay them for their kindness.

  • I can't seem to bring it out of myself to apologize to her, I think its probably because I'm afraid that she won't forgive me.

Mitsuru Kirijo

Mitsuru is calm, confident, mature, responsible, very intelligent and bilingual. In the English version of the game, Mitsuru often inserts French into her speeches such as "C'est magnifique!" ("It's magnificent!") and "Trs bien!" ("Very good!"); in the Japanese version, it's English instead such as "Brilliant!". As the president of the student council, Mitsuru is very caring for Gekkoukan's students, especially towards her fellow SEES members. Due to this however, there are times where she tends to go out of her way often to accept responsibility for many things that especially involves her family's history. She is also good friends with Akihiko Sanada.

Despite his rather striking appearance, Igor bears a calm and courteous demeanor while speaking with players. Though the well-being of the protagonists is important to him, he reserves the disclosure of certain information for more "timely" points in the story. During conversations concerning the protagonists actions, Igor opts for rather cryptic comments that tend to foreshadow coming events and possibly the outcome of the story as a whole, regardless of whether or not those comments are at the time understood (which may be his intent). This suggests that Igor may have near-omniscience, though by his own admission, there are things that even he can't foresee.
