PARADISE LIVE Japanese Love Live! Group Cover
Project Overview
Welcome! Here, I am hosting auditions for a Japanese Paradise Live group cover! You don't need to be 100% accurate, but I will mostly look for your natural voice to suit the character! However, if you do an exceptional job at mimicking the voice of the character, you're just as likely to get cast! In the end, I'd rather you sound natural than strained, so if your voice acting skills are not up to par, I would consider auditioning for someone in your voice-type/range.
I will be voicing Honoka Kousaka. My voice samples and covers can be found on my YouTube, if you would like to listen!
What is this project?
We will be covering Paradise Live from the Love Live! School Idol Project franchise in JAPANESE. Please only audition if you have decent understanding of the pronunciation. I can give minimal help, but it is up to you to get your lines done accurately in the time allotted. However, since this is a ONE-COVER project (no other covers will be done within the group after Paradise Live is completed) the commitment is a lot lower than a traditional cover group, which may require fast turnaround through a few months or years.
Where will we be communicating?
Our main form of communication will be through Discord, so it is recommended you create one if you have not already. That is where I will be distributing the lyrics and asking for lines.
When is the deadline to complete the project?
It is desired that all lines be completed by JANUARY 31ST. This gives you a little less than a month to record and submit your lines to me. If you need longer, extensions can be negotiated. Overall, though, I expect to have the cover up on my channel by mid-February.
Who will be mixing/animating?
Ideally, I will be creating the mix, as the cover will go up on my channel and I have a very specific way of how I want it to sound, as I've been planning this cover for 2 years now. However, a lot of input will be requested by the members of the group.
I also planned to animate the video, but if you would prefer to audition to help with that, send me a message on my discord (hanya#6115) and we can work something out. I could use all the help I can get!
What mic quality should I have?
In general, your mic should be decent enough to avoid noise and other background sounds. Personally, since my old mic broke, I have been using my phone's microphone, so that is acceptable to me, as I know how to tune most of the white noise out of it. However, mic quality does play a factor into your audition, so please be sure to audition with the best quality possible, even if that means editing your audition in another program before sending it!
