[Paid] E-learning Narration

[Paid] E-learning Narration

Project Overview

If anyone is looking to get into voice acting and doesn't mind working for a low rate, this job MAY be available in the new year from a regular client of mine. Please note that this is NOT suitable for hobby voice actors with very basic setups, as this is regular, monthly work with short turnarounds.

 ------

E-learning narration, paid by bank transfer after submission of files:

 Pros:

- Not timed to video

- Self directed

- No special requirements for recording format (192khz mp3)

 Cons:

 - Low rate for experienced VO's

- The English is a little off here and there as English is the clients second language, however it's never really a problem, just correct it on the fly.

- Voice actor must have a sound treated area to record regularly, therefore this is not suitable for newbies or hobby voice actors.

 -------

I accepted this work a few years ago when I first started in VO, as it brought in the cash I needed to build up my voice over equipment, it's given me an extra £50 to £100 a month over the last few years. I can vouch for the client, as he's very easy to work with and pays often the same / next day of files being submitted (rather than the usual 30 days).

**IF INTERESTED PLEASE REPLY WITH A RECORDING DIRECTLY TO THIS LISTING, DO NOT SEND PM'S**

  • Starting from this lesson, we will begin our jQuery study.

Just like font awesome, if we want to use jQuery, we must put its course file into our project folder first.

The best place to get the jQuery source code is the official website of jQuery.

At this moment, jQuery is in its third version.

We can see we've got two download options here: compressed and uncompressed.

For your official project, you should use the uncompressed one as it is more efficient to run.

But we are currently studying jQuery, therefore, you are recommended to use the uncompressed one.

JQuery also supports the CDN installation option. The source file is stored in somebody else’s server. We just link it into our own file. This can save bandwidth for your server.
