Crazy-Funky Visual Novel!
Project Overview
The project "Teleporting Vans"(WIP Title) is a short Visual Novel-style narrative game that a group of Game Design students are creating for an end of year project.
The story follows a group of teenagers as they go from having a road trip around America to suddenly getting teleported into a parallel universe. Their road trip has become so much more as they have to use a teleportation-powered van to travel across the new world in hopes to find a way back home.
The game will be showcased in multiple websites and gaming events once it is viable for release. The release date of the game should be around the 2nd week of May. The voice actors may only have to speak a few key lines, and reaction sounds.
The same voice actors may also be needed for a trailer video.
It is an original work that we plan to make high-quality, especially in terms of story and character development.
The game will be free to play and the download will be sent out publicly during release.
All work will be credited. We hope to also get newer voice actors/actresses out there as much as us game designers.

Maxine (Max) is a crazy loose cannon who often does as she pleases without much thought of the consequence. She is 19, and just graduated highschool since she got held back a year. Max is born and raised in Oregon, USA. She looks for the adrenaline rush and strives for adventure with her trusty baseball bat 'Knock-Knock'. She hates boredom or anything close to it. She is very talkative, loud and witty but charming.
"A trip 'round 'murica? Ha, yeah I'm hella up for that! I'm sure ol' 'knock-knock's' gonna have some fun~"

Happy, a joyful member of the crew and a good friend, rational, sometimes realises how awful a situation can be and is the only one to realise how much crap they are in. Worrier at times (doesn't blame friends or doesn't get angry but is just trying her best to contain her stress(comedic))

Mentor like figure to the characters, she sounds wise but still has that element of fun and joy in her voice.
Sam is an older woman, happy and pretty chill. She can be serious at times though. Her voice has a tone of maturity (and deepness) rather than girly
