Hello, and thank you for stopping by! This a project that I am hosting in tandem with a good friend of mine, Elliott,  who is a very talented artist and story teller! He has written and illustrated an original story that very interesting and fun. I saw the potential to turn his incredible story into a living breathing Manga Dub, complete with a full voice cast and sound effects. So now all I need is YOU.

Only the first chapter is fully complete right now, but Elliott is working hard on continuing his saga. If you would like to read more about the characters or are interested in general. please feel free to check out the first chapter HERE!

Thanks for auditioning, and good luck! You're going to need it!

Aegeon

Unpaid

Aegeon is a young and charismatic teen raring to enter his fourth year of education, and that means finally getting to attend 4Y, the regional school for harnessing one's energy and natural abilities. His ability is mimicry, which allows him to mimic the features and voice of anybody whose face he's seen for at least a minute, so long as he has energy to use. Both competent and confident, Aegeon is a talented fighter and very dutiful, though he sometimes finds it hard to balance personal relationships with his natural tendencies towards being a loner. This role should be considered by anyone who can be both stern as well as playful, with a balance between caring and mischievious. Give it all you have, and show me what you've got!

-Elliott, creator of Warriors.

  • I could barely sleep last night, I was so excited! Today's the day where we get to show off!

  • I'm going to be the best and prove her wrong! (Overly dramatic and gritty)

  • Do we honestly have to listen to this one? Can't we just, like, expel him for almost hitting a teacher...?? (Slightly annoyed, more confident than anything)

Solinus

Solinus, or Sol as he prefers, is a timid lad with a secret. Sol is an accomplished thief, having used wits and cunning to drink from the well of energy more times than what he's allowed at his age. Due to this, he has a tremendous amount of energy at his body's disposal, but no ability into which he might channel said energy. Sol can command respect with his actions, though more often than not he trips over himself because of insecurity and ambition. He's developed a bit of a crush on Adriana due to her natural confidence and outspoken nature, something that he envies more than he'll let on, especially to his best friend, Aegeon. This role should speak to a softer nature, more reserved and quick to quieten his tone unless otherwise persuaded. Show me that spirit and determination!

-Elliott, creator of Warriors

  • Not bad, I think you really captured how handsome I am! (Goofing off with his best friend)

  • Huh.. Nobody at the reception desk either.. This is getting weird... (Slightly concerned, but more confused )

  • HaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAA.....!! (Powering up. Not Screaming, just "vocally focusing." Refer to page 38 and 39 for exactly what im talking about)

Adriana

Sassy yet sweet is how I would best describe Adriana. She grew up wanting friends because her older siblings left large shoes to fill, yet she wanted to forge her own path. She likes books, motorcycles, sunsets and competition. This comes as a bit of a conundrum to those who know her best, and those who don't get to know her don't get to see her softer and more considerate side. Adriana and Luciana are sisters of close families, if that makes sense, and have been nearly inseparable since they could both walk, though Luciana does think some of Adriana's interests are beneath her. To put it bluntly, if Adriana likes you, you'll receive her support in all your endeavors, if she doesn't then it's best to not interfere with her. And, if your name is Aegeon, then she has some, shall we say complicated, thoughts about you as a person. This role is one that I'm going to find very difficult to cast, as Adriana is a character that I've had in mind since day one; so, show me your mettle and make me believe in your abilities!

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • My ability is really cool, huh? A lot cooler than your's!! (Picking on Aegeon, while also bragging on herself)

  • The number to beat! (Talking to herself, getting ready to show off)

  • Hold the phone! If anyone is going next it's me, Paralysis says so!! (Annoyed, yet confident)

Luciana
open
Unpaid

Luciana is a complicated role. She's highly intelligent, to the point where sometimes simple explanations make her impatient, or the simple answers might disappoint her. she's cunning, highly observant, and plainly a few years ahead of most of her classmates. To bide her time while everyone else is catching up to where she is, she loves anime and manga. She can spend hours working on a cosplay idea, or analyzing characters from her favorite series. She gets that not many people are into the same things she enjoys, but she never condescends or tries to come off as better of smarter than anyone else. This is why she's so complicated, because Luciana is entirely genuine; never will she ever do something to put another person down, or entertain the idea that they're not good enough to be what they want to be. She knows where she is and that's fine, it isn't about competition for her, it's about giving it your all. Her flirty nature is only what the more clueless people see when they look at her, so this role should be looked at with a fair bit of nuance. Her voice should sound inviting and kind above all else. There has to be layers to this performance or we'll just have to keep working towards it.

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • We've been waitin' for ya! (Calling our two main heroes over to join her))

  • "Heavy?" Are you calling Sol's energy fat!? (Joking, but with a point. Almost giggling.)

  • (Not spoken in story) Makes sense to me. Wanna go grab an ice cream and walk me home? I feel like we've both earned it.

Lady Minurva

Given this role's limited appearances in the story as a whole, but the importance in this chapter, this role should be treated as a pseudo-narrator on the uses of energy and ability, so it is an important one for world building. Minurva isn't above bending some rules, because she knows what the world is really like. The things that she's seen in her life as essentially a government agent are the kind of things that she knows the students might have to be ready to endure, themselves. That means that she's more concerned with how well the students fare in a practical sense than in a textbook sense. This role needs to be that of a big sister, a calming voice, if somewhat quick to annoyance. Give it a shot and hold nothing back!

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • Telepathy plays 'chopsticks' on the nerves. Feels a bit like an ice cream headache. (Seriously mysterious, but with a smile)

  • Let's see what kind of energy levels you lot have!! (Drill Sargent-esque)

  • Youthful enthusiasm, but so misplaced... Were you really about to hit a nice man like Bartholomew? (Confident, but eeeeever so slighly annoyed)

Hamleton

Hamleton is strange. No two ways about it. Thats why his name is the only character from Ephesus who isn't direct Shakespeare reference. Hamlet is in there, but Hamleton is meant to evoke an odd quailty. Whenever I hear that name, I always think of Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, the kids cartoon I grew up watching on Nick Jr. Our Hamleton isn't a pig who talks and liveds in a box, but I want him to come off as that eccentric. He loves long, drawn-out lecture, and explaining things, even to the point of insane monotony, Hamleton is lovable though, and should be played as a good friend who sometimes get caught up in his own little world. Bring it!

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • Howdy, I'm Hamleton. It's an honor to be here with you guys this morning. (Nice, but slightly raspy. As if hes hiding something)

  • Please, in honor of this joyous occasion, join me in reliving that same oral history!! (Once again pleasant, but with intention to distract)

Bartholomew

Bartholomew likes the sound of his own voice. Or, at least what it's always sounded like in his head. You see, Bart can only communicate through telepathy. He can hear thoughts, though he usually asks permission before doing so. Finding himself in the position of instructor, he feels the need to make this information known to everyone as efficiently as possible, broadcasting a mental message to the entire student body before him. Bartholomew is a good guy, though he really is a bit out of his element when talking to people. After all, what view of the world would you have if you sometimes had to hear people's inner thoughts?

  • That's a good question!

  • The three standing before you may have an unfamiliar appearance...that is to say that none of you have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with any of we three.

  • Our Description is one of a more, shall we say, benign manner than what you expect. We are merely acting as the second-string of instructors during your initiation period.

Think Flash Thompson from the Spider-Man series. He's a bit of a bully and a meathead, but he has a good heart and the potential for great things. The fact that he's gifted with super speed because of his energy ability, means that he constantly feels like the world is lagging behind him, and that can be maddening when taken as literally as he takes it. His voice should make me think of a more sophisticated Biff Tannen from the Back to the Future films, with more love in his heart. He's not a bad guy, he's just rude sometimes. But, he'll always help when the situation presents itself. So what are you waiting for, go to it!

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • Aye, Baldy! Stop prying inside my mind or I'll clock ya! I don't care if you are a teacher! (Seriously annoyed and ready to fight)

  • I want an actual turn at the machine! (Feeling cut short and undersold)

Girl with two Ponytails

Haven't given her a formal Shakespearean name yet, but I can give you a rundown of her and her backstory. She developed her energy ability from the very first day she drawn from the well which unlocks a person's latent energy. She couldn't control her ability, sound manipulation, and caused both of her parents to go deaf, as well as permanently damaging her own hearing. She wears her headphones to drown out the ringing, but she isnt in any pain without them. People's voices just sound muffled and kind of drowned out. Because of this, sometimes she can appear to be rather boarish and interrupt people, but she means no harm. She does have a wry sense of humor, as she can completely silence people, meaning she and they know what was said. She does this by making contact with someone and expanding her energy onto them, as seen in the chapter with Aegeon and Adriana. Her voice should probably be high and somewhat shrill, but with the ability to also sound calm and mild. I want her voice inside to be absolutely beautiful, but when she speaks with her regular voice its too loud and maybe a bit squeeky. Please don't feel the need to scream into the mic or to hurt your own voice, just know that this character may require a fair bit of range in order to capture both the voice that others hear as well as the one that she chooses to share through her ability.

PS. a nice Singing voice wouldn't hurt. I might have something planned for that.

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • I will go next!!! (Breaking up an argument while, also being confident. See Role Description)

Mystery Assailant

I don't want to give apoilers away regarding the overall plot, but suffice it to say that this character is immensely important. As of now, only revealed as the mysterious A, this shadowy figure is a man on a mission and should encapsulate the qualities of drive and focus. He doesn't think of himself as the best, but enough people have given him that reputation that he views the notion as a tool to use against his enemies.  His scene at the tail end of this chapter is the first glimpse into a wider world, and the voice coming through the phone should be calm, soothing, but ominous all the same. This isn't some mustache-twilring villain, this is a character first and foremost. I will audition myself if need be, though I'm not sure how I would feel about having to. For something in the vocal ballpark, think Itachi Uchiha or Troy Baker's Batman.

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • They're all dead. (Cold and deep)

  • I'm at the caravan checkpoint... Same as the last 3... (Unbothered and mysterious)

Narrator

This one's pretty cut and dry. It's a narrator, so my first choice would be Doc Morgan, but since I don't have Funimation money, let's get to work on the next Doc Morgan's career :D

I think this should be a fun, somewhat bombastic voice, with a deep inflection. Another role, I would consider lending my pipes to, since I'm the author. But, fair warning, I might just break into a Kyle Hebert impression from time to time.

-Elliott, Creator of Warriors

  • Our story begins in the land of Teatra...

  • It is here where many students become warriors, though the word has taken on a different meaning...

  • AGEON!!

     Energy Ability: Mimicry

Energy Level: Two Thousand and Twenty

(Almost like the Super Smash Brothers Announcer)
