No Such Thing as an Honest Man
Project Overview
We're working on an independent audio documentary that follows a woman who, along with her sisters, had been abandoned by their father as young children. Their mother always said he was a conman. As social media rose, they discovered that he had gone on to have other families.... many of them. It's unclear how many, estimates range from 13 - 30 other kids, all girls, and he abandoned each of them in turn.
Then one day she discovers his blog, where he is seemingly bragging about being a conman and all the children he's had... and, apparently some of her half siblings have found the blog also, and commented on it, and a strange interaction takes place.

Deep, sultry voice. Think "latin lover", or Ignio Montoya from Princess Bride. This is a smooth talking conman writing in his online diary about how great he is, how much the ladies love him, how he doesn't care about his victims.. He's very cool.
The recording of this role needs to be very clean with no background noise and a decent microphone as this is a monolog.
First of all, I shall start off by introducing myself to those of you who may be interested in reading about my day to day activities. My name is Diosdado Alpas.
I am what one would call a renaissance man.
I am clever.
I am smart.
I am very social.
I am very popular.
I have a reputation with the women.
I am a keen businessman.
I am infamous for my business dealings.
I am always on the sly.
I have a serious problem... would fiti was lying in my bed,smoking a cigerette..thinking..moments later i had a headache.
i was thinking where did the time go?and if i could go back, what would i do differently?would i pick a different carrer?would i have only one home adress?would i use the name my mother gave me?would i take my kids to school and tell them i loved them every night?or maybe..just maybe i would stay with only one lovely lady?
i'm sitting here,thinking...smoking my cigertette thinking about who i am and what i have done,wondering if i could have made a difference,wondering if i made a difference to anyone..just anyone..but i can't seem to think if i truely made a difference in someones life..i mean positivly that is.these are the questions i think,while staring at this lady who sleeps at my side..and wonder,"what is her name?"
These are his various abandoned daughters, who don't know each other, replying to his bragging blog post with incredulity, calling him out and wondering who each other is.
That is very interesting. You have a very high esteem of yourself. Too bad that you've scammed everybody that has crossed your path including yourself. You conveniently failed to mention your addiction problems: gambling, bigamy, sex, thievery, deceipt, and who knows what else...Very interesting indeed!

So you are coming to terms with your shortcomings. You wonder who I am? If we've met? We've met, of course. I am the product of your selfishness. I am innocent of your deciept, yet, I've paid for every mistake you've ever made. Sad really. I'm lucky to not have been burdened with your presence. The protectors in my life made sure that you would stay clear of my path.I dont know who you are. One thing I know is that Diosdado Alpas is the same as my father's name. He left us when I was a little girl. It is very interesting that your post was the same as my father's personality. It really match. Tell me please if you are the peson im telling about.
