New Danganronpa V3 Fan-made Spin-off: Last Hope (Demo run)
Project Overview
Story:
What does it mean to be a survivor? Never-ending
flashbacks of those who you lost dying in front of you, losing the will to
live… But what if I told you that there are those who have even experienced the
death of their past selves?
After Danganronpa became a Fictional Reality, altering
the minds of willing high schoolers into “fictional” characters to supply
audiences with a more realistic thrill, those who go through the program and
survive realize that they are indeed, fictional. Some go back into the program
to escape reality. Others decide to live in the real world. But to those who
come back, society is unforgiving. Most of them end up dead or missing, with no
one to take care of them… Until a group of strong-willed survivors banded
together to save those who suffer from the after effects of Danganronpa.
“I know you’re afraid. I know you’re hurt. But we are
here for you. We are… the Last Hope”
Settings:
Time- Shortly after the end of the 50th
Danganronpa, to the end of the 53rd and final Danganronpa.
Location- Tokyo, Japan.
Fictional Reality started from the 25th
Danganronpa.
All survivors retain their fictional personality,
abilities and memories at the time of their “release”
The duration of each Danganronpa varies from 1 to 5 days,
with about a month of intervals.
Last Hope- An organization comprised of survivors of the Fictional
Reality version of Danganronpa. Their main purpose is to rescue other survivors
and lead them back having normal lives. They are privately funded by sponsors
who support their cause.
Format of Project:
Since this is just a demo run, I will most likely not end up recording anything (This might change depending on how well it goes, but I will ask for the consent of everyone involved if I decide to do so). We will do a reading on a group call on either Discord or Skype, whichever is more convinient for the VAs. Since it's only the first chapter and it's not too long, the session will probably only last about 20-30 minutes. The final official project will be like a podcast, with voices only and no visuals. If you do get selected for the role, please send me your Discord of Skype information (Preferably both)
For the final project (Which I plan to finish writing within the year), I hope to get the recordings posted on both YouTube and Soundcloud. I may be asking for assistance on editing in the future. As mentioned before, this is part of a fan project, so I do not require any professional background for anyone involved. My hope for this project is for everyone to have fun with recording while giving the audience a perspective on the divisive conclusion of New Danganronpa V3.
I will eventually have images for the character, but these will only be for the demo so the VAs can have a gyst of what the characters look like. I will hopely be able to find someone who would be able to do art commissions for the final project. (Credit to Rinmaru Games for having an amazing Avatar maker)
If you have any questions about the project, please leave a comment. I will respond as soon as possible.

This message is for those who have been casted for this project. When I complete writing the full story and I launch another Casting Call, the VAs casted for the demo will get priority when casting. I will ask you if you want to reprise the role before opening your role for auditioning.
(Tah-koo-me Koo-chee-key)
(This role is taken by creator, I am just listing this here so auditoners know what to expect. Also, I put an audio clip of what the character will sound like)
(Koh-Die Koh-Toe-Me-Neh)
Medium voice. Loud, bright and confident.
Male, 19, born on 6/22. Survivor of the 31st Danganronpa.
A founding member of Last Hope who mainly does field work. Kind and generous, but a bit clumsy at times. Doesn't know how to interact with women a lot. He is the main muscle of the group, and is fairly skilled in combat and weaponry, as he (in his fictional profile) was always interested in weaponry, which led to him being proficient in Kyudo. He also acts as the moral compass of the group.
(Letting
out a small sigh) Man, where is this girl? I swear if she’s like, an Ultimate
Imposter or something like that…Atsuko.
If you got nowhere else to go, do you wanna come to our place? Y’know, if you
don’t steal our stuff. Or wear garbage bags.Damn
it, it’s not what it sounds like! Shion, help me out here!
(Tie-guh Ee-Tah-Me)
I’m
just saying that you probably don’t want to experiment with anything tribal. Those
have history, you know!My…
I do have to say, you’ve outdone yourself this time. It’s organized and simple,
yet artistic… It’s quite well done, Nishizono-san.My
opinion still stands on it being a bad idea to give ourselves something that
the public can identify the group with. Labels are more powerful than you
think, Nishizono-san. We need to be discreet in these situations.
(Ren-Geh Knee-She-Zoh-No)
I’m
glad you do! Now what would want it on? Armbands? T-shirts? No wait, we could
make a flag too!Relax,
I have it all covered. It’s not all that expensive to buy paint and a white
flag. It’s all in the budget.…You have some explaining to do.
(She-Own Coo-Sah-Nah-Ghi)
…It’s
gonna what?Can
we fix the satellite already?
(Gen-Buh Sah-Roo-Toh-Bee)
Well, that was a complete waste of time. I could’ve kept working on the
roof… That damn building is gonna collapse one of these days.Nah,
it ain’t that Senpai. I’m just worried about HQ. You know that BIG satellite
dish that Shion-chan wanted me to put up?
(Ah-Tsoo-Koh Oh-Toe-Nah-She)
No…
I think my arm is broken.Well…
I don’t have anything else to wear.
