    Thank you all for taking the time to audition for this Fanime Series-! The script for Episode 1 is 35% finished, and I really want to get more of it finished before I start casting. With that being said, It shouldn't be that along until the script is finished in its entirety. This series... has an incredibly large "main cast," (As of right now, 20) and the casting of all these characters probably won't be finished until a few episodes in... I'm telling you all this because in the case that you don't get picked for a certain role, and you're still interested in being a part of this project, there are quite a few characters coming later on... Subaru is your "Generic" anime protagonist. Because of this, I'm willing to accept ANYONE'S interpretation of how his voice should sound. "Generic" is an extremely vague and useless term when it comes to the type of voice, and while I would like for him to sound like any ole' anime protagonist, He needs to be able to deliver sincere emotion when the time comes.

A supposed blemish, a horrible stain on an otherwise picture perfect family.My mom abandoned me as soon as she saw my white hair... She didn't want to be a victim of the Protagonist Parent Cliche. Momo is your typical Japanese school girl with tiny breasts. She is hot-headed, and quite the tsundere. When it comes to interacting with Subaru, she will always pick violence and physical force over anything.


I'd like for her to sound relatively close to Beauty from "Bobobo-bo bo-bobo." As a matter of fact, I actually used a clip of her voice from the show in order to test a scene. The link to that clip can be found here:

Coming from an extremely traditional family, Myoga Anzu didn't get the memo that the Edo Period ended over 150 years ago... He walks around with a supposed air of sophistication but compared to the rest of his family, he's quite tame when it comes to blending with the current society.


I have no particular voice in mind, but I would like for him to sound more mature in tone, not particularly age, compared to the rest of the characters.

Gaku Honda is the younger, self-dependent brother of the main protagonist, Subaru Honda. He's usually very level-headed but is quick to snap on people depending on the situation. He doesn't want nor need anybody's help and is determined to fix most of his issues on his own. He lives in the basement of his house, where he, on occasion, loves to build various contraptions.
He's always worried for his older brother, even when they don't exactly see "eye to eye"

I would like for Gaku to sound similar to Zatch from Zatch Bell, or Jimmy from Jimmy Neutron-! (Both played by Debi Derryberry)

Being the class president, Miori knows the academy in-and-out like the back of her hand. She's the first student to introduce Subaru to the politics of the academy, while also being the first person to show Subaru the school's stadium, and how to play LnL in an Arena. She's an extremely mysterious individual who's daily life outside of school is unknown to most.

The student council treasurer, and apprentice to the Class President, Miori Sasu. She is an extremely studious girl that always tries to put her friends before her studies. She is a sweetheart and is well-versed in the politics and rules surrounding LnL. Despite this fact, however, she does not have a CS herself, opting to observe the arena battles rather than compete in them.

Brad Uyeda is one of the star players, specifically the quarterback, on the Academy's American Football team. Brad comes off as being pompous and full of himself but is actually just putting on a show for everyone. Although he would like to be nice to others, He has a stereotype to fill, and he's "not going to let his peers down."


I imagine Brad to have that typical "Jock" voice or "Bully" voice. I can't describe it, so I'm game for hearing different interpretations.

A resident Emo Goth, and one of the more "avoided" students in the student body. Although she may seem approachable in instances, she's quick to show off her sharp tongue, turning most people off from befriending her. She is a technical whiz and constantly leaves school early due to her finishing her work an hour in. After befriending the main cast, Shi's home life is shown to be quite... Interesting...


I'm willing to hear different interpretations, from monotone to slightly lively. Whatever you think sounds best.

Subaru and Gaku's Father. He's very, VERY monotone in his line delivery. It seems as though all he does is work or lounge around drinking coffee. He's not that important of a character in the beginning of the series, but gradually becomes more of a consistent character as the series progresses.

A rouge CS that has defied all logic and manifested itself into the real world. He seems to have no ill-will towards the main characters, but there's definitely something fishy going on with him... What is he up to, and what is his end goal...?


"Nemesis" will be a major plot character, and, although his appearances will be spread out, he will be VERY important to the overarching plotline. I'm not set on a particular voice, but I'd prefer that he has a regular speaking voice, maybe a bit crazy in a subtle way, with a demonic voice layered over. I will do this myself post-production, but If you'd like to edit your audition to match, then go ahead. I would like to hear some lines with just a "Normal" voice, however. (If you are going to edit the audition, make sure the regular voice isn't overpowered by the demonic voice.) 


  • (Subaru attempted to battle Nemesis, but failed dramatically. A bloodthirsty Nemesis taunts the protagonist.)"*Sarcastic* It really is a pity... I figured a pivotal protagonist such as yourself could've easily taken me down, but, It seems I was mistaken. *Aggressively steps on Subaru's Hand* AHAHAHAHAHA-! It's way too early in the series for you to be so cocky, let alone think that you could fight me solo..."

  • "I think we both know what I want...""Ya know...That son of yours is a real stick-in-the-mud... but, like most twigs, I'm guessing it wouldn't take much to make him snap...""Don't get it twisted, you're in no position to be giving me any sort of commands, do I make myself clear...?"

Atlas

Atlas is a unique CS in that, while also being sentient, he can bring forth the true personalities and sentience of any other CS on the battlefield. This ability, however, can also be a curse. Atlas is unable to control this ability, and his mere presence can activate it.


Atlas is of diety lineage, and will only work under the control of a true LnL master. Atlas senses the power that Subaru harbors within, and agrees to help Subaru on his quest to become the King of LnL. His is presumably a representation of the Greek God, Atlas, early on in his life. Appears to be in his early-mid 20's.

Like always, I'm open to any and all interpretations you guys may have.

  • "For what seems like a millenia now, I've sat here and waited for the most righteous and just LnL master to stumble across my sheet, awaken me, and form a bond with me so that I may once again rise from the ashes, and destroy the evil that blankets the earth. This master must be quick, cunning, and most of all, intelligent enough to assist me in combat... You, Subaru Honda... Are none of these things. Thank you for trying though, the exit is to your left."

  • "Every second, new life is brought onto this earth. But for every new life, there is a loss of life as well... In the grand scheme of things, your life is just one of many. You're not more, or less, important than any other person on this planet. In turn, that means I could just as easily let you die, and someday form a pact with an even stronger LnL master... But, knowing you, that isn't a valid option, now is it?"
    "Subaru Honda, do you want to be another statistic? Or do you want to prove to me that you're fit to wield my power-!"

A righteous champion and the nurturing mother of all living things, "Biota" is the main CS of tritagonist "Momo Purin." She was created by Momo's grandmother, and was passed down to her once she finished grade school. "Biota's" strength is said to lie within her fusion state, but due to Momo's fear of fusing, she's never attempted to...


I would like for "Biota" to have an... omnipresent voice, one that sounds like your typical goddess. If you think you could capture this effect well, go ahead and add it to your audition. It is recommended, however, that if you plan to do this, that you also record a regular version alongside just in case.

Seiji Hanaki is the youngest son of the Hanaki family, and is also the first in line to take over the families Takoyaki business.

He's a rebellious, yet soft-spoken lad, although he attempts to hide his softer side while attending school.


After his brothers departure, Seiji was left in charge of the local school gang he left behind. While Seiji appears to be a fish-out-of-water when it comes to running a gang, he is still feared and respected around school due to his troupe of glorified bodyguards...
