My Office Job
Project Overview
My Office Job is a 10 page Novella I wrote that I
would like to showcase around. My goal is to have a dramatic reading as a
supplement to the story itself.
A pessimistic man working a mundane office job is stuck in a peculiar situation; he is 28 years old but passes as 50. He discovers a mysterious letter in a trash can in which he discovers he must leave his job. After a series events and with no escape, he writes his farewell letter in hopes of getting his story outside.
Requirements
My goal is to have the project completed by the end of August. I will have deadlines assigned that must be met unless otherwise specified. This is volunteer work only. Make sure to have a clear microphone devoid of static and/or background noise. You must also be comfortable with profanity, while limited, it is still there. Must have email for receiving/sending lines.
Character specifics are included in the audition section.

Wow! Incredible auditions. This will be a tough casting choice as there are so many good auditions. Casting will commence later this week. I have just focused all of my efforts on completing Dead Air FM 2 (check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RINqmmsM2mo). Keep an eye out as I will be jumping into this project as soon as possible.

For People Auditioning
While I have been receiving some incredible auditions, there has been one thing that I've noticed that appears to be lacking. Mitch the protagonist is a very bitter and sarcastic person; not exactly a friendly guy. This video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A58jZyhgGmI is a must watch. This is the type of voice in range what I am looking for. Otherwise, I have some pretty amazing auditions. Huge thanks to everyone trying out!
Mitch is a hardcore pessimist; he hates everyone and everything around him. Although intelligent, his apathy in school led him to a customer service gig for a widely popular company. Although 28, he passes as a 50 year old due to stress.
The type of voice I'm looking for is deep, sarcastic, and a bit sassy. Mitch is a person with a crude imagination, many quirks and often goes into vivid detail over the smallest of things to express his frustration.

I remember my parent's
concerned faces when confronted by my seemingly 500 pound math
teacher during student conferences. His jowls flapping
uncontrollably as his plump lips spewed out the words “your son
has potential, he just doesn't use it.”I heard a pitter patter.
Of course, for the first time ever, some fatass decides to waddle on
in for a mediocre cup of Joe to swill down his gullet. I panicked and
shoved the letter back into the trash just as he entered. God, I must
have looked like an idiot. Here I am kneeling on the floor like I'm
proposing to my imaginary friend Betty, staring into a trash can like
a looney. It wasn't easy. It took quite a bit of internet searching and snagging
up every newspaper I could get my hands on to do it, but I found one.
Yes, I was finicky in my searches; I just didn't want to spend my days
growing old while plunging some greasy bald man's toilet
