Zara Cosmos is a supposedly normal 19 year old girl living in Boston Massachusetts. But when her father, the feared Hades, claims her, her world will turn upside down forever.
My life was "normal," for a time, until my mom died from cancer and my dad claimed me as his own. Now, this might not seem bad, but when your dad is Hades, the Greek god of the Underworld, it honestly can be.
I'm not a daughter of death! My father is dead, isn't he....?

I know I am tough on you, Zara, but you must understand my motive for being so. Hades promised me he would have no more affairs with mortals, but you are the result of a broken promise.
Daughter of death, prepare yourself! For your father approaches!
[Worried] Zara! What happened to you? I was looking for you but the doctors said you ran off!
[Weakly] Zara...I love you, my beautiful daughter... Stay strong for me....Promise me, Zara....
So, Hades had another affair, eh? Mind you, it's only his third, but still. Especially after he promised his wife he wouldn't after the Di Angelos? Now that's a bit unfair.
I saw you before, you know, Zara. When your mother died. I saw you crying. I felt so bad about taking your mother to the Underworld, but I had to obey my duties. Besides, I couldn't leave a mortal to suffer great pain like that of cancer. It isn't right.
I'm sorry, MIss Cosmos, but your mother is gone... Is there someone you want me to call?
