Moviethon - RPGmaker Horror - Casting 2

Moviethon - RPGmaker Horror - Casting 2

Project Overview

Moviethon is loosely inspired by Corpse Party but with an all new setting, characters and storyline. Just because this is the second casting call of its type doesn't mean these characters aren't large parts, they just weren't introduced until a bit later on in the game. All auditions are appreciated and feedback will be given as soon as I or my associate are around to give it. I'm not looking for fantastic quality but if your microphone picks up tons of background noise or you sound tinny, please don't audition unless you are able to record with a better mic and just haven't for some reason.

With all that said, good luck and thanks for auditioning!

Very Hyper. VERY. Also she goes mad and kills herself, so if you want to try that, go right ahead and audition. But yes, very hyper, almost too much so. She wares headphones everyware and gives of the impression of a semi wierd child, so if you could do that somehow go ahead and amaze me. She is semi-bullied by the others in her year so try not to make her so enthusiastic that her death just sounds like another joke.

  • *Hyper* Hi~~~~~! I’m Eda! This is Joshua! Who are you?

  • *Jokeingly* Joshua I’m insulted. Truely! I only ate a packet of wine gums… Maybe two….

  • *Insanely Laughing* (optional but helpfull)

Berwyn

Berwyn is an NPC but should still portray a realistic character, as her relationship with Abby is one that the player has decisions over, so we want them to like Berwyn if possible. She's a bit light-hearted, a bit clumsy but mainly she has a good heart and just wants the best for her and her friends.

  • Heeey! Anybody there! Helloooo!

  • I woke up in the night realising I’d forgotten it, and I’m going home tomorrow. My mum hadn’t told me where to meet her yet and I’d need my phone to find out.

  • I’m sure my roommate Abby must be out of her mind with worry right now.

Jason is a very brief character and I mean brief, so you might be asked to do some ghost voices as well. The idea is that he's the protagonist of a badly made horror film. A very flat character to be sure but still a necessary one.

  • I should advance rather slowly round this corner.

  • …..AAAAH! *jumpscare* (optional line if you don't want to scream on audition.)

Abby is Berwyn's friend and another NPC. She's a bit less trusting and a tiny bit more sensible than Berwyn, but this doesn't stop her taking risks if she thinks it's a good idea in the long run. Again her relationship with Berwyn is one that the player gets to decide upon so try and maker her likeable.

  • Hi, you’ve reached my mobile, I’m asleep or in an exam or something so leave a message.

  • *shouting* No! D..don't come in!

  • What's going on out there? Hello?

An electrician who gets killed off during a job at a power station. Although his part is small, he is the first onscreen death in the game, so his death needs to be dramatic and set the tone for the oncoming onslaught. Other than that, the character himself is simple and lighthearted, I don't have a particular voice set for him so try with whatever you think and we'll judge from that.

  • (Aah, I've always wanted to drive in one of these. I used to have the small figures when I was a kid. Such fond memories.)

  • (Such complex machinery, probably best not to touch.)

  • Huh… What theaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! (This line is optional if you don't want to scream in your audition. Keep in mind you will be asked to scream for the final product.)

Headmaster

The headmaster is a tricky fellow, who is essentially the mastermind behind this plot, the good plot mind you. His main dialogue will be exposition or dramatic lines so if you could try an appropriate voice for that, I'd be appreciated. Something quite dramatic yet easygoing, so the player doesn't get board but doesn't dislike listening after 8 words. He ends up sacrificing his life to save the other people, and is overall one of the most mysterious yet good characters in the game.

  • (Misleading Evil Tape)

Take the key nearby and unlock its location. If you do this, you will come to understand what has to be done, and the events of this evening will make a little more sense.

  • Attention All Students and Faculty. This is David Clouds, and I'm about to tell you how to stop this madness. You'll need to listen carefully. Somebody among you has just listened to the diaries of Frederic Moore, found my attached note and called this phone number, which has triggered this pre-recorded message. This is to explain to those still alive how to get through this mess.

  • You're listening to this message because the souls still haven't gone, which means my attempts have failed. Anybody listening will need to head to my office. My desk drawer has a password which I will tell you later on. Inside it are the locations of 5 vials of liquid, You only need to attach 3 of these to the machine in the Pavillion. If you do this, and then restart the machine, the souls should be released. Be warned, the souls will try to stop you.

Jade is a caring mother of one of the characters, but upon arriving at the school and witnessing horrific event after horrific event she begins to slowly break down. Overall, a loving mother is the main basis for this character, who is lead by her emotions more than by logic.

  • (I have a bad feeling about what’s through there.., I can’t tell why but this seems like a deliberate action to delay us from finding something important.)

  • It’s obviously to stop the students messing about in it. We’ll just have to find the key.

  • James! James! Can you hear me?! Answer me James!
