Minecraft Machinima/roleplay "The Hunted" Episode 1
Project Overview
Introduction:
Hello, I am creating a Minecraft Machinima/ roleplay series called The Hunted and am looking for both voice and body actors. The project has been in the works for a while now but only recently has started putting out casting calls for needed parts in the production. The fundamental plan behind each episode is one widely used in the machinima roleplay community. Each episode will be as follows, there will be a short segment of machinima that will serve as a “cut scene”, delivering all story beats that happened between episodes. After that, the episode will start as a first-person mostly improvisational roleplay style much like the Haunted series. The teaser was filmed a few days ago and consists of three short scenes introducing some of the characters and their dynamics with each other. For now, we are working on season 1 but there will most likely be other content released after the completion of season 1. All information will be listed below.
Overview:
This is a Machinima/Roleplay Minecraft series that will air on my youtube channel. There is no pay for any members involved because it would be a negative return on investment. This is overall for fun and it will be just that. For the beginning of production, there will be just a few parts available but as the series progresses more available slots will open. We will always need more members so don't be afraid to reach out. Some parts have been cast. All contact and communication will take place over discord.
Body actors needed:
Body actors will always be needed and valued. If you don't know or are new to Machinima, a body actor is a person that acts out the role in a video game that is then dubbed over by the voice actor for that character. There will be two kinds of body actors for this production. First are those who will act in the machinima segments. Second, are those that will act in the roleplay episodes themselves. A common misconception is that a body actor doesn't speak, well you might if you in this section of body acting. All speaking body acting roles will be listed as such. For all actors of the first kind, there will be only minor commitment because the machinima segments will be primarily fairly short. For the second kind of body actor, there will be a little more commitment being that the takes in a roleplay can be lengthy and you might need to wait for your part to take place.
Requirements:
Must have a computer that can handle the modpack and server that the episodes will take place in.
Must have discord for contact.
Must be able to follow basic instructions, just don't troll.
Must have good enough wifi to run a server without noticeable lag.
Must have a decent mic if you have a speaking role.
No age restrictions.
No location restrictions.
Details:
The server is hosted on the Cursed Forge launcher in the mod pack “Valhelsia”. It's not a giant mod pack but a computer able to run it is critical. The download and installation of curse forge are all free and simple. If you have any questions, message me directly on discord.
Voice actors needed:
There will be many voice actors needed in the future of this project with options for both female and male voice actors. Currently, there are only two available parts but that will change soon. Files will be transferred over discord.
Requirements:
Must have a decent microphone.
Must be 12-25 years of age.
Must have discord.
Must have time to record. You won't need to record every day but maybe once a week.
The building of the world:
If you are interested in the Minecraft building side of the production message me on discord, we would love to have you. The world will be a large dynamic map on the server previously cited in the details of the body acting section. It's a fantasy none hyper-detailed map that will have roads and paths connecting it. If you want to help build it then just ask! It's purely non-pay and will be one of the continuous parts of the series. All you have to do is meet me on a server (preferably hypixel but if there's another that would be easier for you that's fine) and show me a build. You can't just send pictures because there's no way for us to know if you really built it.
Story synopsis:
This will be a fast story synopsis. The series takes place in a fantasy world and will follow the adventures of the friend Jed (the main character) and Tyler (the secondary main character) as they travel across the world. They are both enderman hunters, a rather unrespected job, and are being hunted by a noble who has put a large bounty on them. This noble is being puppeted by a dark creature, Shadow null. Shadow null has taken over the nether and wants the two friends alive for some mysterious reason.
About me and my constituents:
I am an independent creator. I have had a passion for this kind of content for a long time and I am finally creating a series in the Machinima/roleplay style. I am partnered with a good friend of mine who shares our adoration for the medium.

He is a noble that controls a large region of the kingdom Stonevail. He is being puppeded by a demon known as shadow null and is forced to do his bidding. As the series progresses he will be a major threat to the characters. In regards to the voice, Articulate, matter effect but not to the point of being snooty. He is a respectable yet formidable young man that is not inherently evil. He is just not in control. This part will be a low commitment but an important one. This will be purely voiced acting.

For the body actor roles, the character you play will be unimportant unless you are a roleplay character. A fast overview of actions: You will be a bandit and will ambush the main characters as they enter a ruin in search of an enderman that been residing there. You and the other three bandits will circle the main characters in the center of a large room. the ground under them collapses and you and the other bandits are attacked and killed by the enderman. It will not be an overly demanding shoot in any sense. I will supply the skin and any and all needed information via discord.
Time of shoot undecided.

This is a minor, one-time speaking role. The character is a bandit that sets a trap for the main character and after the trap is sprung a brief conversation ensues between the bandit and the character. -very brief- This is a very low commitment part. Should take all of 7 minutes. The voice is any variation of a ruffled bandit.
There's a reward for you alive, and I'm going to collect all that gold. -pause- are you dead or are you just unconscious?
This is a small speaking body acting role in which you play a bartender. This is a rather small role but will require all the factors in the requirement list for body actors. A summary of this role is as follows: You are a bartender that stands behind the counter and ask the main characters what that will have, then when they respond, go behind into the tavern kitchen and retrieve it. If you wish to engage in conversation with the main characters you can but tell us first so we can supply you with any needed information. The voice and accent don't really matter.

This is a main supporting role that will be very important to the story progression. they will be a main supporting character that will require some improvisation being that the Roleplay style of every episode will preclude scripted interactions. A quick description of the character is as follows:
They are a merchant and their father was one and his father's father but they have always wanted to be an adventurer. They know that if they start a family and settles into being a merchant they will never be able to leave to go on adventures. This is the dilemma that leads to them joining the main characters on their adventures. They accompany the main characters to a bandit base to help them steal an airship. They drive it to their next destination.
This part will be more of a time commitment than smaller parts in this production.
