Project Overview

Now a little more about this project, we use Discord for contacting/recording sessions and it's our main social area for our members. When we record we will use the discord voice server when we meet, which will range from 2 to 4 times a month, it just depends on how productive our recording sessions are. The more chapters we can knock out in a recording session the less we'll have to meet. We have a voice script that we work off of for the characters lines and ignore the narration lines and just record the interactions for the characters.
Now there are some requirements when recording and sending in lines:
1. Please use your best Mic in the quietest room you have.
2. In the recording please tell us what mic and program you are using plus if you have a pop filter.
3. Please be prepared to commit for the long haul.
4. HAVE FUN! If you can't enjoy yourself then what's the point? (I love being a team leader and meeting people!)
5. If you aren't chosen don't worry, we have lots of characters who we will need to cast in the near future.

She's the Princess of the night, she's a royal and she's by far one of the most talked about ponies in the ruling class. Perhaps that's because she was banished to the moon over 1,000 years ago when she turned into the dreaded Nightmare Moon and tried to overthrow her sister. Now she's back and she's trying to get back into the swing of things.

“It is stressful for us now that our royal duties have been resumed. We also do not…” (pause for a moment before continuing,) “We do not have many social engagements yet. As such, we write stories to entertain ourselves. ‘Tis truly for fun, not mischief.”
“Thou art being quite literal, the character Daring Do is not of our creation. Nay, a wonderful writer by the name of A. K. Yearling created her and crafted many books about her heroism. Those books are known and beloved all across our land. We are a fan of these books and it is not uncommon for literary-minded fans such as we to take a character and write our own stories. It helps grow the fiction and many build communities around these stories.”
“Verily! This is so, thanks to Equestria’s weak copyright laws and the absence of a giant mouse corporation that compels bureaucrats to extend such rights well beyond what is reasonable.”
He's harsh, cutting, biting and tough love. He served in the Equestrian Military, got wounded in a war and then went to the guard where he then had 2 kids. One is a girl who he treated rough and the other is a boy who he treated a little better but not by much. He drove them hard and never had too many nice things to say.
(blurted) “With HER? “Is she one of those fillyfoolers? That just isn’t natural. Back in our day we knew how to handle those kinds of ponies. You’re better off without a friend like that.”
“What about Princess Celestia’s House Guard? Won’t you be trying to get into that unit? They’re the best around.”
“I see. Well… I guess that is alright. You haven’t made sergeant yet?”
She's a guard in the Palace and she was assigned to a green wet-behind-the-ears guards who volunteered out of guard school to become Princess Luna's house guard. She trains him how to be normal, how to love and how to become something more than a soldier 7 days a week 24 hours a day. She's about 25 to 35 years old, she used to live in a mansion with her family but decided that she didn't want that kind of life and she wanted to help ponies which is why she joined the guard.
“You just strung together more words in the last five minutes than you’ve said in the entire time we’ve been partners,” (laugh) “Well, clearly you were just destined to protect Princess Luna.”
“Not from the palace but certainly from here. This situation could spill upstairs in a hurry and we’d be overwhelmed. I don’t much care for the idea of knocking down regular ponies who don't mean any harm but are just panicked.”
“I’m going to see the medic. You have twelve hours to think about how you’re going to make up for not noticing for this long.”
She's a guard who has several kids and a husband at home and cares a great deal for all the ponies that work under her. She's kind, easy going, easy to talk to and has a pleasant motherly personality.
“My name is Radiant Orchid. You and I met a couple of times when you were working with us. Prior to your unit being stood up.”
“What?” (laugh) “Oh! No. No…” (Lowering voice), “The food here isn’t that great. I just wait until I get home. That is a perk of having a kitchen. You’re kind of on your own there, I guess.”
“No chance of that. Personally, I’m hoping that at some point the palace manager brings in a new staff or something. It is almost a crime that the palace should serve such awful food. You’ll live longer if you do. Listen, I know you’re new and there aren’t any other green ponies in your unit. If you need anything, you can come see me. Alright?”
She's clumsy, happy go lucky, crazy energetic and always has a bad habit of getting into messes because of her clumsiness. She never lets anything get her down. She's a guard but she has a hard time being the perfect soldier and has a tendency to speak out of turn and be a little to happy/perky when performing her job.
“That is cool! My dad is a farmer, so he doesn’t know anything about guard stuff. He knows a lot about farming, though. If you ever need tips on raising pumpkins, I’m your filly!”
“I’m helping Runic with his science and alchemy! We’re unlocking the secrets of the universe!”
“Good morning, Sergeant,”
One runs the store and the clerk just rings up ponies orders. They don't get to work with royalty and don't know how to handle it when a princess comes into their store. Lots of uncertainty and a little fear.
Manager: “How may I help you, Princess?”
Male Clerk: (Stammer) “Twenty-five, please
He's a pegasus who has served with the military and is part of the guard but has also worked with the military. He's commanding and he's no nonsense.
. “Thank you, son. Dismissed. Wait. You look familiar. Do I know you?”
“That is a shame. That place is a waste of a real soldier and I know real soldiers when I see them. If you ever get tired of it, I’ll approve a transfer. What is your name?”
“Good soldier. Dismissed.”
